Chapter 8 I Am Cheap and Bitchy, So What?

Rosy was shocked hearing Roger's roar. she had never seen Roger so angry. However, she also noticed a hint of reluctance and unwillingness under his fury. She frowned slightly, letting out a soft moan:

"Roger, I get a headache. Just let her go and I want to get some rest."

She didn't want new problems to crop up unexpectedly. The only thing she wanted to do was to force them to get divorced as soon as possible. Otherwise, all the years of scheming and manipulating would have been in vain.

"Sure Rosy, just wait a minute," Roger said to Rosy in a low voice, then looked at Ann, "if you want to save your family business and your brother Charlie, go to stand in the garden until I get over it. After that, I'll forgive you and your families!"

"Ok, I hope you can keep your words."

Ann stood up and walked to the garden, standing in front of the large French window.

"Roger, the headache is nagging me. Will you take me to the bedroom?"

Rosy's sweet coquetry came to her ears.

Her heart was almost numb. She lowered her head to avoid seeing the couple in the house.

She watched Roger walk upstairs with Rosy in his arms and enter the bedroom of hers.

She was dimly aware that it was raining. The rain was as cold as ice, just like Ann's heart at the moment.

She thought that it was time to abandon her obsession with him.

"Roger, I don't love you now, and I don't want you anymore!"

Awakened by rumbles of thunder, she found she had been fully soaked by the heavy rain. She felt her stomach clenched hard as a stone. Blood flew down slowly.

Roger looked at his wife standing downstairs with a dark face. He was still thinking about her words that they would never meet again, which gave him heartburn.

He lightly covered his chest but did not go downstairs.

At the moment, Ann suddenly fell to the ground. He saw her bleeding in the rain.

But he still did not go downstairs. He thought that Ann should bear all of this. It was her fault: she forced him to marry her and even asked Rosy to leave him. Rosy had suffered much more than her!

"Ann ..." Ledin had just gotten out of the car when he saw Ann fell down in the garden. He lifted up Ann, looked up at the man standing upstairs, suddenly smiled, "Roger, you do not deserve Ann's love."

The rustle of the white curtains was the only sound in the peaceful ward.

Changed into the hospital gown, Ann lay on the bed. Ledin sat by the bed, looking at her quiet face. She had been sleeping for one day. Exposed to the rain after the abortion, she was still in a high fever.

He didn't know if she was strong enough to face the cruel reality.

Charlie was taken away by the police in front of her grandfather. The stocks of their company chopped and it was in the danger of bankruptcy. Her grandfather had a heart attack when hearing the news and was sent to the hospital last night.

"Ann, go with me, alright?" Ledin looked at her sleeping face and moaned softly.
