Chapter 5

TREYSON GRUNTED when the clock strike six. He barely get some sleep last night because of the lips that softly pressed against his. Thinking about it early in the morning made him grunt once again, annoyed at himself.

"Why is she always kissing me anyways?" Treyson asked himself pushing onto the bed and sat down. "And for me to always end up dumbfounded?"

A knock on the door snapped him out of his thinking. And before he can answer, the gentlest voice he knows filled his ears.

"Treyson, are you awake?" His Mom called.

Treyson immediately head for the door. He smiled at his Mom when he opened the door.

"Good morning, Mom." And gave is Mom a kiss on the forehead.

"Oh, good you're awake. Fix yourself then come on downstairs. I want you to give Raia a ride to the university. You'll do that, yes?" His Mom's tone don't take no for an answer. His Mom tapped his left cheek softly. "Move your ass quick, okay?"

Treyson didn't get to answer his Mom, more like his Mom didn't wait for his answer. He just shook his head as he close the door and get ready. After a few minutes he grab his eyeglasses and wear it as he descended downstairs. Only to be greeted by one fine view, walking back and forth at the back of the long sofa.

Raia is wearing a green body-hugging, long sleeved, turtleneck dress that reached down to the half of her thighs. The dress showed her shape and curves. Paired with gray stockings and a black, four-inched strappy, high-heeled shoes, making her look taller. She has a light make up and her hair was tied in a bun, with some hair strands cascading down her face giving her an innocent yet alluring look. She's in deep conversation with herself, mumbling some words as she makes some hand gestures.

Treyson didn't notice that he stayed rooted in his place as he admire the young lady in front of him. He didn't even know when his foot touch the last step of the stairs.

Raia roamed her eyes around when she felt someone's stare. And her eyes stopped at the man standing at the base of the stairs, looking at her intently behind his spectacles. She felt her cheeks heat up. And to hide what she's feeling, she bowed her head as she greet him.

"Good morning, my lord." She moved like an impeccable butler will.

Pulling him out of daze, Treyson stand straight an sauntered towards her.

"Good morning." He greeted back, smiling. "What's with the look?"

"I have a two-hour practicum." She answered somewhat irritated.

"You don't sound cool." He pointed out her irritation.

"Of course. I'm not used to kind of this dress." She even rolled her eyes at him.

Treyson let out a chuckle. "Then why did you chose to wear it?"

"The Queen-"

"I made her wear it. I did her hair and make-up." His Mom said, proud. But the young lady pouted.

"I think it's a little over the top, my Queen." Raia said sulking. "I feel bare." She added scrunching her nose.

"You're wearing a long-sleeved turtleneck dress. You're not bear." Oceania said with her reprimanding yet gentle tone.

"It clings to me. Like second skin. And barely reaching half of my thighs." Raia frowned. "And the shoes hurts my feet." And she flopped on the sofa to rest her feet.

"You'll get used to it in no time, dear." Oceania said smiling at her. "Now, you have to be early on your school, yes?"

"Si, my Queen." The Queen of the household smiled when she answered 'yes' in Spanish language. She grabbed her bag, ready to go.

"You two should go, then." And the Queen turned towards him. "Drive safely, okay?"

"Yes, Mom." And Treyson kissed his Mom and motioned Raia towards the door.

Raia kissed his Mom's cheeks as she bid.

"I'll be at the rest-"

"No. Head home straight. Here." Oceania said firmly, contradicting her soft smile. Her tone not to be argued.

"Okay." Raia said in surrender. "We'll be going then." And she bowed her head before sauntering towards the door. Treyson followed suit.

Treyson was utterly astound as he watched Raia's back. He can't help but remember the little girl he held years ago.

Time can really change people. He thought to himself.

Treyson tuned out his thoughts and was about to open the door for her when Raia beat him to it. A smile shadowed his lips.

"Do you still have class after your practicum?" Treyson asked.

"Yeah." Raia answered shortly.

"Til what time?"

"Three in the afternoon, why?" She looked at him questioning.

"I'll come pick you up, of course." He answered nonchalantly.

"You don't-"

"I do." He said cutting her off as they reached the car. He opened the door for her. "Get in."

Raia rolled her eyes towards him but do as she told.

Treyson didn't heed attention to her eye-rolling. He ran towards the opposite door and settled in front of the steering wheel.

Treyson glanced at the young lady beside him. But the latter was looking outside the window. Shaking his head, he get the car going. The car was filled with silence while on the road. Treyson didn't dare speak, so was Raia who's eyes was still outside the window.

And after twenty minutes of silent ride, Treyson parked the car outside Raia's university. And their Alma Mater. The Quintana siblings was known in the university, not only because their family is one of the university's biggest benefactor. But also for being always at the top of their field.

And Treyson was known in the field of architecture.

RAIA DIDN'T wait for Treyson to open the door for her. She got out of the car as soon as the engine died.

"I'll walk you in." Treyson said not to be argued. But she still asked.

"Why? you don't have to."

Raia watched the latter stride towards her. She has a frown on her face.

"Don't frown." Treyson reached to caress her forehead using his forefinger. She pouted at him. As he stand close in front of her, she have to look up at him for her height barely reach his ear level. And she's wearing high heeled shoes at that.

"You don't have to walk me in." Raia said while pulling her dress down. "I hate this."

"Don't pull it down. Let it be." Treyson get her bag from her without asking and placed his free hand at the small of her back. "Stand straight, chin up and walk confidently."

"Easy to say." She rolled her eyes as she do what she's told. "Shall we, then?"

Tryeson smiled that knowing smile then winked at her.

"By all means, my lady." He said playfully, sexily. He offered his arm to her which she willingly take for support.

Raia can't help but chuckle at him. And they walk side by side towards the university gate.

And what can expect from everyone who'll settle eyes on them? Some stopped at their tracks to stare, some even gape at them. And there's one who bumped into someone because her eyes was at the man walking beside her.

"This is what I'm saying." Raia murmured but it reached Treyson's ears.

"What is?"

"I hate attention. My look alone can draw that. What more if I have a Greek god walking beside me?" She whispered, getting annoyed.

"I don't mean to do such. I just wanted to walk you in. And I don't want men ogling you." His last words came out like hard stone.

"They won't. And even if they do, I don't mind-"

"I do." Treyson cut her off immediately. "Now don't argue with me about that. I'm not comfortable with the thought of men ogling ."

"They won't. They can't even look at me in the eye." She rolled her eyes again and take turn towards the far end of the hallway and ascended into the third floor.

"Still." Treyson said with finality. "What room?"

Raia mumbled her room number. And as they reach the room, students outside the closed door turn their attention towards them.

"Not again." Raia said irritated as they get near the door.

Treyson chuckled at her.

"What the hell is so funny?" She snapped at him.

"You, baby girl." He responded, amused.

Raia rolled her eyes once more at what he called her that added more to his amusement.

"Don't roll your eyes. They're beautiful."

"Whatever." And she raised her brows at him.

"Wow."

The two of them snapped at the owner of the voice.

"Hey babe. You look stunning." Daniel winked at her.

Raia glared at the latter before she faced Treyson. His attention was on the young man who called Raia with such endearment.

"You're not bad yourself."

Raia grab her bag from Treyson's hand, making him face her.

"Thank you for walking me in-"

"Everyone get in!" Her instructor announced cutting what she has to say. She waited for her classmates to proceed inside the classroom before she face Treyson once again.

She didn't pay attention to Daniel who's waiting for her, staring at Treyson intently.

"Thank you for walking me in." She bowed her head at him. "Te veré mas tarde, señorito."

Treyson smiled at her as she bid. "You sound sexy speaking Spanish."

Raia felt her cheeks flared. "Drive safely."

Treyson leaned forward and placed a kiss on her cheek, an inch away from her lips. She froze on her spot.

"I will. I'll pick you up, okay?" Treyson said when he stood up straight, and wish her luck. "Buena suerte, señorita."

"Yes, my lord." And she bowed her head once again. "Gracias."

Raia watch him retreat without even looking back. She felt someone's hand draped over her shoulders.

"And who is that?" Daniel asked playfully.

Raia walked towards the door and get in with him.

"The Fifth Prince of the Quintana household, Treyson Aegir. The Norse God of the Sea." She introduced in a hushed voice.

"Hmmm. Even his name sounds so hot." Daniel chuckled silently as they both took a seat. "And you didn't even bother introducing me to him."

"Later." She whispered and trailed her attention to their instructor. "We have to focus on this one."

"Okay. Deal."

And they both tuned in for the next hours of their class.
