VERONICA

“ Close your eyes “ I ordered Yael as I put an eyeshadow on his eyelids.

“ I told you that I don’t want to” he grunted but continued on closing his eyes.

I jokingly tapped his shoulder and giggled as I stare at his face.

“ You’re a gay, you should try to do something like this sometimes “ I stated and continued on what am I doing.

“ Tss, not all gay acts and wear make ups like the ladies, actually a lot of us looks just like a normal guy” he said and opened his eyes to look at me.

I frowned at him and pouted my lips in dismay.

“ I just want to see if you’re prettier than me if you turned out to be a girl” I stated and then closed my make up kit as I sat in front of him.

“ I am prettier than you even I’m a man silly” he answered and looked at his face with a mirror.

He created an unexplainable face and cringe at the sight,

“ How can you be so bad at doing make ups? Seriously? What kind of girl are you “ he rolled his eyes at me then stand up towards the comfort room, maybe to wash his face.

After the apology between us we eventually became this close, we started to understand each other deeply although we still argue with each other all the time.

“ You’ll have a meeting tomorrow right? About your new movie right?” I asked him when he got back.

He nodded at me making me grin at him widely.

“ What about that? I don’t need you there, just go somewhere you want to go “ he said making me pout all of the sudden.

“ Where should I go? I’m so fucking bored in your house! There’s no man to please me, oh god help me!” I shouted with boredom and lay on the sofa.

“ Don’t go use God’s name just for your naughty desires “ he rolled his eyes at me then threw something on my face making me grunt.

“ That hurts you homo !” I complained and look at it only to gasped excitedly when I realized what is it.

“ The latest issue of the hottest men in Asia! Fuuuuckkk!” I shrieked on the top of my lungs as I excitedly opened the magazine.

“ Come on , don’t be so loud and just go drool with their hot bodies “ he chuckled then sat beside me to look too.

“ You already read this?” I asked him and turned my face only to be shock to find his face so close with mine.

I immediately pulled back and smiled at him awkwardly. I secretly nag at myself as I feel my cheeks blushing and my heart beating faster than usual. This feelings always happens whenever Yael’s close to me, I don’t know if I’m turned on , horny or what but I’m certain that this is bad news.

“ Of course, “ he answered me and eyes the magazine excitedly.

“ Actually I think the hottest man is this guy, from page 28 “ he said and flipped the pages as I keep on staring at him.

“ See? Look at that muscles , besides he has this funny aura around him, seems like he’s fun to be with” he continued saying as he keep staring at the magazine.

“ How about you? Who do you think is the hottest?” He suddenly faced me catching me off guard.

“ You, you’re the hottest “ I absentmindedly muttered while staring at his kissable lips while licking my lips because of heightened emotions.

I just got back into my senses when he suddenly flicked my forehead with his fingers while glaring at me.

“ Stop that kind of jokes, it’s gross for goodness sake “ he said , cringe is visible on his handsome face.

I made a face because of his statement, wow just wow, this guy really don’t fail to insult me as a woman.

“ Tss, since you’re not here tomorrow then I’ll take that opportunity to unwind, your house is so boring just like the owner “ I sarcastically said and flipped my hair. He just stared at me and shake his head because of my behavior.

“ Do as what you want Veron, go find someone who can please you as woman “ he sarcastically responded making me rolled my eyes at him.

“ Huh! I’ll definitely will!” I shouted and raised my arm on the air.

He just shoved his hand not believing what I said and closed his door.

“ Hmp, I’ll definitely find someone to date tomorrow, with this kind of face? No guy who’s on the right mind would say no to me “ I said as I smiled and do cute poses on my phone .

YAEL

I stare blankly at everyone on the conference room, weird but this room seems so dull even though a lot of people are talking with each other.

“ What’s with that reaction Yael? You should smile,” Reese whispered at me and I just clicked my tongue because of annoyance.

Veronica left the house earlier than I did, talk about manners. I’m her boss and yet she just left the house without saying anything to me, the worst is she didn’t even readied breakfast!

“ Everyone’s already here, I’m very happy to see all of you here, from the casts, the director and staffs , the producers, managers and sponsors “ the producer stated happily and we all smiled lively at him.

Everything was already settled, the scripts , the venues and other necessary things, this meeting is just for to get to know each other stage, so that the whole team will be able to work properly with each other.

This is boring.

I wonder what’s that talkative girl is doing right now?

“ Tss, why do I even think about her?” I whispered to myself and shrugged her grinning face out of my mind.

VERONICA

“ Veron what do you want to eat?” Harold asked me as we go inside a five star restaurant.

Harold here is my cousin, Felice’s brother and I just saw him here in the mall , he said he’ll treat me food so I followed him.

“ Anything? I don’t know any Thai food, choose for me “ I stated and smiled.

I wonder why this asshole suddenly got kind to me? We always fought because he always always make fun of me but why the sudden change?

Harold started giving our orders to the waiter as I look outside through the window. My eyes widened in shock when I saw Yael together with some few people entering the same restaurant we are in.

I thought he’s in a meeting?

“ Oh, you recognized him? He’s Yael Cruz a famous actor right? I heard that they set a reservation here in the restaurant today “ Harold stated making me look at him confused

“ How did you know that?” I asked him as I frown.

“ Well don’t you know? I own this restaurant, actually Felice and I are business partners but since it’s still small we decided to handle each restaurant, I came to handle this one” he explained and wiggled his eyebrows flaunting how successful he is unlike me.

Imagine that? Harold is just a bully back then! Now he already owns a restaurant, while me? I’m working as a personal assistant, yeah great just great.

I rolled my eyes at him and turn my face away only to catch Yael’s stares . I gasp faintly and immediately look away from the eye connection.

Shit! I need to keep my job a secret from Harold or else he’ll make fun of me until the day I die! I won’t let that to happen! I must keep this a secret at all cost!

YAEL

I frowned when Veronica suddenly looked away from staring at me. What’s her problem?

I look at the guy she’s with, he looks good , didn’t expect her to find a date this quick huh?

I shrugged it off then walk straight towards our table, the casts decided to eat outside so that we can be comfortable with each other, this will help us to act naturally when we start shooting .

After some drinks and chitchats , I stand up and told them that I’ll just go to the comfort room.

As I walk towards the comfort room I saw the guy Veronica’s with flirting with some other girl making my blood boil. How could he flirt with someone else when his date is just near? Such an asshole.

I let out a sigh and quickly finished my business there then left calmly, I need to be careful. I’m in a restaurant, I need to stay away from gossips and issues.

“ Ah!” I state when an idea come up to my mind.

I pulled out my phone from my pocket and texted Veronica about what I saw but a lot of minutes have passed but she’s still not replying to me.

I simply took a glance at their table and found her chuckling while talking with the asshole. Aishh, that girl should learn how to choose a better man.

I tapped my head when I realized that I’ve been so occupied thinking about her. I should focus to work.

Once again I took a glance at them and decided to start focusing on things in front of me.

I’ll just go tell her about that guy if we’re both at home.
