Chapter 3

THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW

Yohan looked on his right when he didn't heard a single word from Tatiana as he was anticipating for her to talk about herself.

He noticed her head slowly falling and her grip on the carton of the strawberry milk is loosening. Yohan panicked for a moment as he has no idea where the lass lives and he couldn't just leave her here for something bad might happen to her.

He let out a soft chuckle before standing up from the swing, placing down the plastic bag full of canned coffee and chips he's holding before squatting in front of Tatiana, taking the strawberry milk from her hand.

"Should I wake her up?" he asked to himself but later on, he remembered that she hasn't slept well for the past few days.

He roamed his eyes around the place to see if there are any bench where he could place her down and luckily, there's one.

He carried her to the said bench before laying her down. Yohan then sat on the other side, lifting her head up as he lets Tatiana use his thigh as her pillow.

He ran his fingers on the strokes of her hair as he caress it, helping her feel comfortable. "Sweet dreams, Tatiana." he softly said as he planted a soft kiss on her forehead.

TATIANA'S POINT OF VIEW

It's all dark.

I couldn't see anything. I slowly walked straight ahead, not knowing where I was going.

After taking a few steps, the light suddenly conquered the darkness. Showing the beauty of the place I'm in.

I turned around to see where I was only to find a river of blood where corpse are floating.

I'm scared...

I wanted to seek for help but my body won't move as I was pinned on the ground.

"You're now safe," I looked to my side to where I heard the voice. And all of a sudden, everything around us turned white. The corpse and the river faded. I looked at him, thinking where I first saw him as he seems familiar to me.

He wrapped me around his arms, stroking my hair with his fingers. Slowly, I feel safe... "Sweet dreams, Tatiana." those were the last words I heard from him before he vanish to thin air.

Feeling stiff and uncomfortable, I slowly opened my eyes as I felt foreign.

I don't remember our room smells this manly...

"Mitsu-kun..." I murmured while my eyes were adjusting on the brightness.

My eyes widened upon realizing that I am in a different room. Where the fuck am I?!

I blinked thrice for I might be still dreaming, or maybe I'm just seeing things. But there's no use!

Out of paranoia, I immediately looked down beneath the blanket that is covering my body. Sighs. My clothes are still here.

"Oh, you're finally awake."

I did not think twice— nor even look at the one who just spoke. I threw the first thing where my hand landed to the door where I heard a man's voice.

"Chill!" he said with a hard accent. "It's me."

"Yohan?" I whispered as I peeped from the space of my fingers that were covering my eyes.

"Yeah," he said then he walked towards me. "Did you sleep well?" he asked in a low tone upon sitting on the edge of the bed.

He's no longer wearing his eyeglasses, this is the first time I saw him this close. And for no reason, his eyes looks empty...

"I somehow did." I softly said, shrugging it off then I roamed my eyes around the entire room.

The walls are painted gray and I like how minimal the furniture are. My eyes then landed on the desk placed in front of the huge window where you could see the trees. I noticed the numerous books above it along with an empty picture frame.

"Is this your room?" I asked, tilting my head to his side.

He nods.

"How the hell did I end up here?" my forehead creased.

"Well, you passed out." he let out a soft chuckle. "I don't know where you live, so I decided to take you here."

"You should have just woke me up." I whispered, pinning my eyes on the window as the air blew the curtain covering it.

"I don't want to disturb your sleep," he said then I suddenly remembered something.

"Mitsume," My eyes widened upon realizing that Mitsume must have been looking for me.

"Wait, what?" he asked, confused. But I did not mind him as I mind focuses on what excuse to tell Mitsume.

I hurriedly pushed the blanket on the side before standing.

"I'm going, Mitsume must be worried." I said before rushing out of the room.

"Wait!" I looked back at him then I heard my phone rang. Mitsume's calling. Crap!

I quickly glanced at Yohan who's looking for something, keys? I don't know! Before answering her call.

"Ittai doko ni irun da?!" Mitsume asked where I was as I answered her call. This is bad, she speaks in Japanese. That only means that I really made her worried. (Where are you right now?!)

"Gomen nasai, Mitsu-kun," I said softly, apologizing for not informing her. "I'm on my way home, I'll tell you what happened." I said and I heard her took a deep breathe from the other line. (I'm sorry, Mitsu-kun.)

"Okay," she sighed. "Take care, Ichika-san."

I faced Yohan after the call and I saw him holding a key. "I'll go with you," he said in a low tone before locking the door behind him.

There's a long silence between us while we were walking towards my dorm. It's not an awkward silence but a comfortable one. There are a few who were already jogging on the streets at this hour and when we passed by the playground, I saw a few dogs together with their owners resting after a walk.

Our walk back to the dorm is not that long and it only took a few minutes.

I saw Mitsume impatiently waiting for me on the doorway. I turned to Yohan before calling Mitsume's attention, "Thank you for walking with me." I smiled.

"I only wanted to make sure you're safe." he said as his piercing eyes were darted on mine, it's as if he's drowning me through his stares.

It weakens me...
