"What?" I asked. "How did you know him?"

"Hey chill! He's my cousin. He came to visit." She replied. What a small world. "Why am I just knowing this? You have hot cousins like this and you never introduce me to them?"

She rolled her eyes, "okay This is not the Basma I know." She raised a brow. "Pfft whatever. I like him." I can't believe I'm saying this.

"Well his name is Abdulrahman like I said. He's a business Man. He owns his own company." I was impressed. "Even his name is amazing" I sighed dreamily. "Eww!" She pretended as if she was going to puck. "But don't worry I just know what to do."

"Hey don't go and tell him that I'm crushing on him please." I warned her. Farida can be crazy sometimes. "I'm not crazy you know." She stood up taking her handbag. "Where does he live anyways?"

"Few blocks away from us." She replied. I scrambled up, "you're joking right?"

"No Basma I'm not. I can even take you there if you want." I rolled my eyes. "That's not necessarily. I believe you."

I accompanied her out and went back to my room. i plumped down on the soft bed. The thought of him came running back into my head again. It was weird at first but every second I fell in love with the idea of falling in love. It was unpredictable and crazy but I loved it.

I heard the Ahdhan being called. It's time for Maghrib. I sauntered into the bathroom, performed ablution and offered my Maghrib prayer.

Xx

It was Saturday evening when me and my best friends decided to stroll around the neighborhood. We were walking and a having a little conversation when my eyes landed on Abdulrahman. The second time I'm seeing him. I smiled, the butterflies in my tummy going crazy.

"What?" Najah asked.

"I... uh... Farida... it's him..." I stuttered looking at his direction.

Farida looked at the direction I was facing and saw her cousin Abdulrahman walking towards us. She chuckled. "Thought as much. Lemme go say hi to him." She said walking towards him. Najah and I stayed back.

"Salamu Alaykum." She greeted. He looked up and smiled, "Wa'alaikumus Salam Farida, how are you?"

"I'm good, Alhamdulillah. And you?"

"I'm fine thanks," he replied. His hands in his jeans pocket. "Who's that fine lady over there?" He asked. "Who?" She looked at our direction.

"The cute fair one." He smiled at me. He smiled at me?

"Oh, her name is basma, interested?" She said winking. He chuckled with his head down. "Uhmm I'll call you later and we'll talk about it.

"Okay then bye."

She came back smiling and looking at me.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Nothing." She grinned from ear to ear. "What were you guys talking about anyway?" Najah asked. "Hey it's between me and my brother."

Farida kept looking at me and giggling. "Seriously what's up with you?" I asked getting tired of it.

"Nothing. I'm serious there's nothing."

"Urgh! You can be annoying sometimes." I said rolling my eyes.

It was getting dark so we decided to go back home. We said our goodbyes and all went our separate ways. His curls were midnight black and his eyes were light brown, framed by graceful brows. He skin was tanned. He had prominent cheekbones and a well-defined chin and nose. He's just the guy I've been wanting. I've been longing to meet.
