Reincarnation

New Teacher.

I was writing something in my diary when my best friend, Mitch came. Mitch is a childhood friend and a classmate, she is my only best friend.

"Hey, Maria," she greeted. I hurriedly locked my diary so she wouldn't see what's written in there and I looked at her with my smile.

"Hey, Mitch," I said then showed her my palm and this girl sat beside me. "What is that?" she asked then tried to grab my diary from me, sadly I grabbed it first from the table and hid it in my backpack that is placed under the table.

"Mitch," I said with a smile, but my right eyebrow is raised and my forehead is wrinkled. Some of my classmates can't do that which is the reason they'll smirk at me when I do it.

"I just wanna look at it," she said then pouted.

"You cute little girl," I said then pinched each side of her cheeks then she frowned but I just giggled.

"Hey that hurts," she said while holding both sides of her cheeks.

"So, Mitch," I sid then slowly looked at her. The moment I completely turned my face to her, I saw her lips pursed and her right eyebrow raised but she doesn't look mean with her face. "What happened to that boy that you asked to date?" I asked her with both of my eyebrows raised. At this very moment, I am certain that I look expectant that the boy who she asked and she is started dating, but she pouted and looks sad. "Why?" I asked when I noticed that her smile disappeared, "What?"

"He dumped me," she said then covered her face with both of her palms.

"I told you already," I said while shaking my head.

"What," she asked with her wrinkled forehead, "What did you tell me?" she asked then crossed her arm against her chest.

"I told you that boys should be the one who will ask us out," I said with my right eyebrow raise and crossed arm which is the reason she looked down.

"Boys asking girls out?" Mitch asked with her smirk, "That's old-fashion," she said and her smirk disappeared.

"It is not," I said and my eyes got bigger because I was shocked "How is that an old-fashion?" I asked while wearing my ready-to-fight face.

"These days, if you like someone whether you're a boy or a girl, you will ask him or her out," she said then sighed. I just shook my head and sighed. This girl's sigh is contagious.

"That is why they always dump you," I said then sat properly and looked back at my front.

"Hey," she said which is the reason I looked back at her with my right eyebrow raised.

"What?" I asked with the corner of my upper lips raised.

"There is one who didn't dump me duh," she said while showing me her index finger and using her arrogant smile.

Oh my, this bitch.

"Who?" I asked her with my crossed arm.

"William," she said which made me laugh hard, I even clapped my hands.

"Why?" she asked, "Why are you laughing?" she asked again with her eyebrow raised.

"William?" I asked then laughed again.

"Hey," she said then she held my arm, so I breathe deeply and looked at her. I breathe deeply and did my best to stop laughing, she might explode if I'll continue.

"Ok so, you said William, didn't dump," I said while nodding and stopping myself to laugh.

"Yes," she said while nodding and looked at me with her arrogant face.

"He cheated on you," I said then laughed again.

"Maria~," she said and looked up.

"Why?" I asked while controlling myself.

Self-control

"That's too harsh," she said then looked at me. Okay her face makes me feel bad. Mitch has this talent in making people around her feel bad, that is why I hate her sometimes.

"Mitch truth hurts," I said then bit my lower lip.

"I know, but you could've just stayed silent," she said then she looked down at her hands. I looked at her hands and drops of water.

"Hey, Mitch," I called her, but she won't face me so I held her face and level our eyes. "You're crying," I said and my eyes started to water. I felt bad, I am the reason why she is crying.

Maria," she said as she cried so I hugged her tight and rubbed her back to hush her.

"It's alright," I said as I rub her back, "Our classmates might think that I made you cry," I said and looked around, I saw their eyes on me. I can feel my heartbeat became fast and loud.

"But you did make me cry," she said then slapped my back.

"Hey, that hurts," I said with a smile on my face but my forehead is wrinkled. "Hey," I said as I tap her back, but she just continued crying so I taped her back while saying "Hey" about ten times before she looked at me.

"William's girlfriend is looking at us," I said then looked at William's girlfriend with my peripheral view.

"Where?" she asked innocently as she wiped the tears in her eyes and cheeks.

"There," I said then looked back at William's girlfriend with my peripheral view again.

"Oh shoot," she said then hurriedly looked down and wiped her tears with her skirt.

"You cry too long," I said then shook my head.

"I can still feel the heartache," she said and held her chest.

"Heartache," I said then showed her a smirk which is the reason she looked at me with her glaring eyes. "You asked other guys out then you didn't fully recover from your third heartache," I said then shook my head, "You are a player," I said with a smirk and still shaking my head.

"I'm not," she said.

"You are," I sid then sat properly.

"But why is the new teacher still not here?" she asked and looked around, so as I.

"Yeah, you're right," I said then sighed, "Our new teacher is late."

"Good morning class, I'm sorry I'm late," he said and all of us sat properly.

My forehead wrinkled when I think the new teacher is someone I know.

"Why is your forehead wrinkled?" Mitch whispered.

"He is somehow familiar," I said and focused on his face.

Who is he?
