Teardrops

"What are you talking about?" Mitch asked as she grabbed a tray for both of us—it is now our lunchtime and today is the day when the food in the cafeteria are all appetizing.

"Don't you believe in reincarnation?" I asked her in a whispering way. I hate rumors and such so I'll whisper and do my very best to keep our conversation confidential.

She looked at me with her forehead wrinkled and she looks like she is thinking something—I think she is starting to believe me.

"You are crazy," she said then looked at her front where the foods are. "Just less of that," Mitch said to the lady who putted curry at her tray.

"I swear it is real," I said then looked at the lady, "I'll get the curry that was supposed to be hers," I said to the lady, well, I love Surry so I'll have hers instead, it will definitely be a waste, "Thank you," I said with a smile on the lady when she put extra curry at my tray.

"You must like curry too much," she said then grabbed a dessert at the very end of the table.

"Yeah, I love it," I said then grabbed a dessert.

"Ah, yeah back to the topic," I said. We are now walking to one of the tables in there, "Some people even said that they were reincarnated," I said while looking at her and this bitch just kept eating, "Kids know about the dead people's past, even the most confidential things that had happened to the dead person's life they know," I said while nodding and she just looked at me with her wrinkled forehead, "It means they were reincarnated," I said then she smiled at me—a fake smile. "Hey," I said when she started eating again.

"You should eat," she said then nod at me.

"But what I am saying is true," I said—pursuing her to believe me. My forehead is wrinkled and my lips showed her the sad type one.

"Just eat," she said as she looks at me, "I don't want to see you walking in the streets telling people about reincarnation," she said as her forehead wrinkled and continued eating.

I wanna make her believe of what I said, but it is not easy so I gave up and just thought about something else.

"Yeah, I'll make her believe me step by step," I whispered to myself with such a determined look.

"What are you doing?" she asked and as I look at her, I saw her her wrinkled forehead and after she unwrinkle her forehead I saw her left eyebrow raised.

Is she doing this because she can not do it all at once?

"Are you alright?" I asked her with my eyebrow raised and the corner of my upper lip raised.

"Yeah," she answered while nodding, "Why?" she asked with her wrinkled forehead.

"You just wrinkled your forehead then raised your left eyebrow," I said then wore my smirk, controlling my self so I won't laugh. This bitch is freaking funny.

"Did I?" she asked in a glee. Her smile widen and she looks so hopeful. I feel bad about ruining this little girl's happiness so I sighed, "Why?" she asked when she noticed that I sighed, "Why did you sigh?" she asked again.

"You did," I said then I started eating. I first ate the curry with some mashed potatoes. It's so good so I let out a deep breath and moaned, "This is so good," I said in my head.

"Really?" she asked so I looked at her, but continued eating, "Did I really wrinkled my forehead then raised my left eyebrow?" she asked again with her wide smile so I gulped.

"Yeah, yeah," I said then continued eating.

"All at once?" she asked with her interlocked hands below her chin. I guess it is time to ruin her happiness and et her face the truth that she can not do it.

"No," I said as I shake my head and continued eating.

"That was harsh," she said. Her smile disappeared, she became serious again and continued eating.

"I know," I said as I continue eating.

"You just ruined my mood," she said then continued eating her food. We hate food waste that is why she won't let the ladies put too much food in her tray because she knows that she can't eat all of it and I hate it that is why I ate hers because I don't want someone else to have it then just throw it away.

"I know," I said to her while nodding.

"Just eat," she said then continued eating again.

We are eating peacefully when we started to hear some irritating bees—girls who are talking to much and some screech so I bit my lower lip and breathe deeply and started eating again, but their screech continued so I looked at the direction where the screech and bees are. I froze of what I saw, water started to gather around my eyes until it fell right through my cheeks as a tear.

"Hey, are you okay?" Mitch asked when I think she saw the teardrop from my eyes. "Why are you crying?" she asked again then snapped her finger in front of my eyes which is the reason I got a grip of myself.

"W-hat what?" I asked while blinking a few times, "What happened?" I asked her with both of my eyebrows raised.

"What happened your ass," she said which is the reason my forehead wrinkled, "Look at your face," she said then grabbed her mini mirror from her pocket and gave it to me so I can look at my face.

"W-what?" I asked myself as I look at my reflection and wiping the tears that fell from my eyes.

"That is why told you to eat," she said while shaking her head, "Hunger can make people go crazy."

"Hey, Mitch," I called her while looking at the boy that I saw earlier which is also the reason why he looked at the same direction where I am looking, "Who is that?" I asked then looked at her.

"He is the new student in grade 9 high school," she said while nodding at me the she continue eating her food again.

"But why did water gather around my eyes as soon as I saw him?" I asked myself in a whispering way and continue eating again, but the question kept running around my mind.
