I woke up sore, I wobbled to the window to check outside, I saw that it was still pretty dark, I decided that I will not go to school, if I go with bandages over my head people will raise questions I will just tell the teachers that gave us homework that I was not feeling well, I really hope they understand me.

If they raise questions, what will I tell them happened to my head? No! Will definitely not go.
I will a shower then will make breakfast for my step father. I carefully stood up, taking my time, I went to the toilet and did my business, I brushed my teeth and I took my bathe, I felt really refreshed after that, that rhymed, I thought with a smile.

I wore an oversized shirt and pants , I then went ahead and cleaned the house, I vacuumed and mopped with bleach twice to ensure that there is not a single spec of dust in the house, I also cleaned the furniture and made his usual breakfast for him, I also made noodles for my self and ate, washed the dishes. I took my time not wanting to collapse again and went to my room, the moment I hit the bed I was out like a light.

Alero's POV

       I am feeling very bad for Azyma, Dinela should have never said all those things to her, and on top of that she called her little mice, once I reach school I will calmly talk to azyma and we will sort out everything, we told her we want her to be our friend and we were not even there for her when she needed us, I should have not listened to Dinela when she told me not to intervene, I should have intervened and taken Azyma's side, I could really feel her pain, I will sort out everything today, just as my dad drove into the parking lot.

"Thanks dad,have a nice day."

"You too, I love you."

"I love you too dad." I said with a wave and watched him drove off.

I saw my two friends and rushed to them, they immediately greeted me, I gave them a hug and greeted them back, but I was frowning at Dinela, ready to attack her because of all what she said to Azyma yesterday. 
        
"Why did you say all those things to Azyma? none of them were true and you know that?"

"Of course I know that, so why did you say all those things to her? Well she is not the only one that can get angry, she has every right to be angry."

"I should have not listened to you when you asked me not to intervene yesterday, Dinela, why did you ask me to stay out of it?"

"It is her fight, let her fight it."

"When you were fighting Debby gold did you fight it alone?"

"Azyma was right about you, you really are an hypocrite."

"Yes I accept I am an hypocrite."

"If you had intervened she would have attacked you too and then who will save you? huh answer me! I do not care what you think I know I did the right thing."

"You are going to apologize to her today." I commanded.

"She told us not to speak to her, and I told her that we will not even breathe in her direction, so how are you expecting me to apologize."

"You guys please stop fighting, Dinela just apologize to Azyma it will make Alero happy."

"Okay I will apologize, but where is she?"

"Let us go in the school to find out, we both have physics together." Austin said.

"You and Azyma?" Asked Alero.

"Yes,we even have homework to submit."  After that we went to our lockers to get our books.

"I do not see her anywhere." Alero complained.

"She probably went to class early." Said Dinela.

The bell rang for first period, "See you later." Austin and Dinela said in unison.

"Bye."

  Austin POV

I entered the class hoping to see Azyma would be in her seat but she was not there I was starting to get worried, we could not concentrate in class, this is her third day in this school and she is absent, I wonder what made her absent, is it because of what happened yesterday?

"Everyone submit your homework to my table now!"

"I have thirty students in this class and only twenty five people have submitted, what happened to the remaining five people."

"Sir Azyma is not in school." I told him.

"Is she the only one that is not in school?"

"Yes sir." I heard someone answer.

"The rest of you who failed to do the assignment should meet me in detention after school, you will be there for three hours."

"Why would she be in school after what Debby gold did to her." I heard Tamika ask.

"I do not think she will ever show her face in this school again." Said laura another one of the schools slut.

The bell rang signaling end of the lesson, I grabbed my backpack  and head to the hallway where I met my friends.

"Austin,Dinela did you talk to her? What did she say? Is she still upset?"  Alero asked impatiently.

"I did not ask her."

"What! Why did you not ask her?!"

"Because she is not in school."

"What are you saying?!"

"She is really not in school." Said Dinela.

"We did not see her by her locker and Austin did not see her in class,what else do you need to know that she in not in school."

"She just resumed and she is skipping school."

"Do you think she skipped because of what happened yesterday?"

"Yes I think so."

"I messed up really bad did I not?"

"Yes but you can fix it."

"We do not even know where she lives,and we want to be her friends."

"Once we patch things up we will get properly acquainted,okay?"

"Okay but I just hope she is present in school tomorrow."

I woke up with a headache, I went to the kitchen to take pain reliever pills. I checked the house for my stepfather but he was no where to be seen, I made lunch for my self and him spaghetti and meatballs, I made sure to not move to fast so I will not feel dizzy, after I was done I ate my share quickly and I washed the dishes, school should be over by now, I think I can go to school tomorrow without the bandages.

After I was done I went to the couch and simply sat there after a while I got bored of doing nothing so I turned on the TV, I need a little entertainment in my life,I was watching a comedy movie, the two and a half men, it got me laughing hard,I heard my step Father's car enter the drive way and I quickly changed the channel back to how it was, I switched off the TV and went to  my bedroom feeling good, I still had headaches but it is dull.
          
I heard the front door open and close, I hope he is in a good mood today, after a while of waiting for him to enter my room, I was glad when he did not, I will use today to heal my head, soon I was out like a light for the second time today and for the first time, I slept peacefully for the first time in an extremely long while.

NEXT DAY.

I woke up just in time to make dinner I made fried yam and egg sauce with shredded beef. I knew he was home so I did not dare eat out of it, besides I ate a lot today I am kind of full,it was like today was my day off from all the torture and abuse.

"Why did you not go to school today?" He asked me.

"I could not go to school with bandages and I am not feeling well my head hurts so much."

"If my school mates raise questions what would I tell them happened to my head that they will believe? and if I tell them a lie that they do not believe, you will hurt me."

"So now if the principal call what should I tell him?"

"That I am sick, I will resume school back tomorrow."

"Okay,whatever, move out of my way."

I went back to my room showered and I was about to change into my worn night gown when my step father came in with two of his sex toys, I just dropped the gown and layed quietly on the bed for him to use me as he pleases. when he was done the carried his property and left my room, I curled into a ball and I wrapped myself in the sheet, I thought he wouldn't do this to me, he wouldn't hurt me today because I'm hurt, but no, I was stupid to believe that anyways, I thought as I cried myself to sleep.
