Chapter 32

"I want to take my daughter with me." Brian asserted.

"You have no RIGHT! I will kill you if you say that again." Adam snarled.

"You don't have any right to keep her here forcefully. She is sick and she needs us. Let her go." Brian said.

"Don't ever dare to say I don't have any right. She is mine. I will never let her go." Adam screamed.

You are mine. You are my whore. I won't let you go ever. You will spread your legs whenever I will command.

Words rang inside her ears. A voice echoed loudly inside her head.

Time stopped, every thing before her disappeared. She found herself crying and begging for mercy when someone spread her legs and thrusted inside her.

"Please stop!"

"Please!"

She was crying but he kept going even when she was bleeding down there.

"You are a whore, my whore! You are mine!"

Fiona couldn't hear anymore, couldn't see anymore. Her throat constricted painfully, like any large anaconda wrapped her neck in a vice grip, her chest squeezed cutting her breathing.

Her body gave up on her and she was about to fall on the floor.

"Fiona!" Brian quickly held the weak body of his daughter in his arms.

"Fio!" Jack squealed.

"Fio! What happened to you? Why aren't you talking? Dad, Fio wil be fina, right?" Jack cried.

"Did you really have to scare her? See what happened. Please let me lay her on the bed and call the doctor quickly." Brian snapped. Adam's hands wrapped around his neck, gripping him.

"Motherfucker! Lower your voice. Only reason I am not killing you and your little bastard is her. Don't ever try to take her from here!" Adam hissed and released his throat roughly. Brian was about to stumbled backward, he was holding Fiona.

Adam pushed Brian and took Fiona's unconscious body in his arms.

"Don't touch her!" Adam warned.

"She is my daughter."

"She is no daughter of yours. She is mine now." Adam carried Fiona to her room and placed her body on the bed. Brian and Jack also followed him.

Adam quickly called Dr. O'neil.

"She had another panic attack? She was supposed to be happy seeing her father and brother after so many days." Dr. O'neil remarked shaking his head lightly.

"At first, she couldn't believe that we are alive. She was told that we were killed and she couldn't believe. Then she panicked that he may try to kill us again so she urged us to leave. After watching my daughter, I can't leave her in this place. So, I told her to come with us. We were leaving then he stopped us and started threatening. My daughter got scared and-" Brian explained.

"I got it. She must have remembered any bad memory or got very scared." Dr. O'neil nodded.

"I have to take her opinion what she wants once she gets her consciousness. Now you can see that see is out of her silent persona. She started responding. So, for her recovery I must know how she feels, how she likes to stay and make arrangements that way." Dr. O'neil suggested.

Jack was standing behind his father all that time. For the very first time, he opened his mouth and braced himself to say, "My Fio will be fine, right?" His eyes were shimmering with tears.

Dr. O'neil couldn't help feeling bad for that child, he was so concerned about her elder sister. He ruffled his hairs and smiled, "Of course champ. She will be fine and very soon play with you again." Though Jack was just a seven years old child, he couldn't feel assured because he too had a feeling that something serious was wrong with Fiona and the big bad person won't let her go easily.

He adjusted his spectacle and said, "Mr. Knight, I have something to talk to you."

Adam and Dr. O'neil walked out of the room leaving unconscious Fiona with her father and little brother.

"What do you want to say?" Adam questioned in a rough tone.

"Her nightmares and hallucinations decreased after prescribing the drugs. Her violent and self-destructive behaviour is under control too but it's only using drugs. Antidepressants, sedatives, hypnotics. She didn't react to anything, she didn't react to pain, hunger or thrust. But today she reacted instantly seeing her father and brother." The doctor described.

"What are you trying to say?" Adam inquired.

"I advise to let her stay with her family around who she feels at home, feels comfortable. Let her go with her father. She will get better soon." The doctor adviced.

"No! She is not going anywhere." Adam curtly said.

"But it's-" Dr. O'neil was cut by Adam.

"It's necessary for her recovery? I don't care. She is not leaving this place. Whether she gets better or not I won't allow her go away from me." He gritted his teeth.

This time Dr. O'neil couldn't control his temper.

"What do you want?! Do you really want her to get normal? If not, then let me go. I can't cure her if you interfere in the treatment again and again. Please let me go and continue with my job and hire another psychiatrist for her." Dr. O'neil rebuked.

"First decide what you really want. Do you want her to be normal again or you want her to stay forever the way she is now? I will strongly advise to let her stay with them." Dr. O'neil continued.

Adam didn't say anything, pushing him aside he headed to his personal bar.

Opening a bottle of Scotch, he poured the raw liquid in his throat. His chest burned and he stopped when the alcohol reached almost half of the bottle.

Alcohol worked as a great stress reliever for him but right now it didn't work. He threw the bottle at the floor. The glass bottle shattered into pieces and golden liquid spattered everywhere.

He slumped his body in the Victorian couch and lit a cigar.

"Will she ever come to me if I let her go now?"

If she gets better, will she come to me?

Would you have come back here if you were her? His mind asked him.

No, I would never and she won't return either.

I won't let her go.

Adam decided.

She will stay here, with me, forever.

But she doesn't want to...

I don't care what she wants or not, all I need is her staying here.

Why?

"I don't fucking know!" Adam screamed in frustration and confusion.

A few hours later,

Fiona was lying on the bed still unconscious and Jack was sitting beside her with teary eyes, holding her hands. Dr. O'neil assured Brian that there was nothing to worry and soon she would wake up, she needed rest as her body was stressed.

Brian was conversing with Dr. O'neil about how exactly was Fiona's condition. They were sitting on the couch and talking in a low voice so that Jack couldn't hear anything. Ironically, still Brian didn't have any slightest idea what happed to his daughter. In past six months, he didn't any idea where she was. Police, private investigators, journalists - nobody was able to trace her.

Then one day he and his son were kidnapped and were forced to stay in a small house by some people. They were even starved and threatened. In excessive mental and emotional stess, he experienced a stroke. He recently got to know it all happened by the order of Adam knight. But what enmity he had with his family? Today, he and his son were picked up by his men and they only informed him that he was going to meet his daughter.

"Doctor, please tell me what exactly happened to my daughter? She is so sickly pale, skinny and why did she act abnormally?"

Dr. O'neil knew that Brian recently experienced a brain stroke and if he reveals the truth to him, it might csuse him shock and affect his health. Because, it was too much to take in for any person, let alone the father whose daughter had been through such cruelty.

Dr. O'neil said, "I can't say what happened to her, it's not the right time. She is mentally unstable right at this moment."

Brian's eyes widened at the statement, he stammered, "B-but doctor, m-my d-daughter was completely fine. She was the most sensible girl, she took care of our house alone, took care of her little brother like a mother. W-what happened within past six months?"

Brian couldn't think anything straight, he wiped his eyes with the sleeve of his shirt.

"S-she will get better right?" He asked in a desperate tone, suddenly holding Dr. O'neil's both hands. The doctor couldn't help feeling pity for that helpless father.

"Of course, she will. But for that you have both have to stay around her. She needs the comfort and love she was deprived of for last months." Dr. O'neil stated.

Fiona woke up fluttering her eyelids.

"Fio." Jack said.

Fiona looked up to him and her lips stretched into a smile watching her little brother. Her father and little brother, were the two persons, she loved most in her life.

They were safe. The nurses came to her aid and helped her to sit. Fiona sat on the bed, leaning against the head board. They informed the doctor.

Dr. O'neil came to see Fiona, "How are you feeling?" But she ignored him.

"D-dad, I d-don't want to s-stay here. Take me with you." Fiona cried as soon as she saw his father.

Brian sat beside his daughter and side hugged her, saying, "Of course, darling. I will take you with me."

Brian wiped the tears of her eyes and kissed her forehead.

"Daddy, when are we going?" Jack asked.

"Soon, dear. Very soon." Brian answered his little boy.

"NO ONE IS GOING ANYWHERE!" A loud voice growled. It was Adam.

He entered the room and Fiona hugged Brian tightly, Jack also hugged him.

Brian hid his two children in his arms and said, "I am taking my daughter with me and you can't stop me."

"If you don't want your daughter see you die before her eyes, don't say a word." Adam threatened.

Brian got out of the bed and shouted, "What do you want? My daughter is already so sick. Let her go with me or you are trying so that she doesn't get better? Do you want her to go insane?!"

Adam instantly grabbed his throat and squeezing his throat, said, "Don't ever try to say that ever again." He lifted Brian off the ground. Brian was trying to release himself from his grip, with his both hands and thrashing his legs, due to lack of oxygen.

"Daddy! Leave him, you bad man! leave my daddy." Jack ran to his father and hit on Adam's leg with his small fists but Adam didn't pay any heed. Fiona got down from the bed and knelt before Adam.

"P-please l-let him g-o-o-o. D-do what you w-want to do to me but l-let him go." Fiona cried, joining her hands.

"P-please, let him go-o-o-o." Fiona bent down and rubbed her forehead on his shoes. Adam's eyes darted at her and automatically his grip on Brian's neck loosened. Brian fell on the floor with a thud and started coughing hard.

Adam knelt too and leveled himself to her level and grabbing her shoulder, made her look at his eyes. His face was red in rage and Fiona was trembling in fear. He gripped her shoulder and his finger dug inside her flesh, Fiona yelped.

"You are willing to do anything to save that man? You are ready to whore yourself for this filthy bast**d?! Even after knowing everything?" Adam growled, leaving Fiona flinched.

"Answer me!" He yelled, Fiona's body stiffened.

"P-please. I w-would d-" Her voice stuck in her throat. Tears ran down and lips quivered.

"P-please d-don't h-hurt them." She somehow finished but again a surge of panic hit her. Adam quickly scooped her in his arms and laid her on the bed. "P-please-" Fiona couldn't utter any comprehensible word; she lost consciousness.

"W-what has happened to her? Fiona, darling?" Brian got up and moved to the bed to check on his daughter.

"Don't touch her with your filthy hands! You are not even her father!" Adam roared moving Brian's hands away.

"What the hell is wrong with you? My daughter is so sick and why are you stopping me from seeing her? What enmity do you have with me? Why are you torturing me and my children?" Brian demanded massaging his neck, which turned red from Adam's squeeze. Brian was breathing hard, sweating.

"Bloody motherfu**er, have you forgotten Jovana? I am her son. I am doing this because I want to destroy you." Adam growled, the cords of his neck stood up.

Brian's expression turned into a puzzled one, he blinked repeatedly and asked, "But why do you want to harm me? What did I ever do to you?"
