Jennys POV

When I saw my mom and dad I was furious. Like why did they have to come back? I was perfectly fine without them. I took a deep breath and finally said in an on edge voice, “Why its my lovely parents that decided to come back. What dearest mommy did Hollywood not want you? Isn't that sad? Well please do not come back and expect to play mommy and daddy. I will never forgive you!” My parents looked at me with a shocked look. I guess they expected me to be happy that they came back? Well they thought wrong. I finally sat down and ate my dinner.

The rest of the dinner was silent. At the end of dinner as my grandma Betty was cleaning up my mom spoke up and said, “Betty was telling me how you are doing great in school and that your cheer captain. That is awesome. I wanted to apologize. I was selfish but I mean to make it up to you. I don't expect you to forgive us right away. But can you try?” I thought for a second or two and responded with, “I do not know but I know it's going to take some time. Before you earn my trust. If you will excuse me I want to get ready for bed. I have school tomorrow.” I got up and ran upstairs and went into my bathroom and decided to run a bath. So I can relax. Too much has happened today. I just hope school goes better tomorrow. I can't take much more drama.

I get out of the bath and put on some pjs. Set my alarm and texted Jax: 

THE TEXT BETWEEN JAX AND JENNY:

Jenny: Hey jax. My parents came back 

Jax: oh really?

Jenny: yea and im not 2 happy bout it 

Jax: I can imagine. I bet its a shock 2

Jenny: Yea it is

Jax: well let me take your mind of it.. Wrud

Jenny: thnks. Im just laying in bed u?

Jax: same.. I wanted to ask how did practice go

Jenny: well kate and emily got into a fight then i had to break tht up. Then i tlked 2 kate and i understand why she is such a bitch. Apparently she liked tyler and tyler never really paid much attention to her no matter how hard she tried. I guess w/ me being the new girl i got his attention and she was jello tht i got tyler. I told her she isnt missing much. Also the only reason she is going after u is bc her dad is making her. Bc of ur dad being a big business man. Her dad wants yall to merge companies. She doesnt really want 2. But her dad is very greedy 

Jax: wow! No wonder she was pursing me so much. Tell her i will kind of help her but she needs to back off on the flirtness. 

Jenny: I told her exactly that. If you dont mind imma go to bed gn jax. Do u need a ride 2 school tmw? 

Jax: no it isnt supposed to rain. So i will be taking my bike nigh jen

Jenny: Nite Jax 

BACK TO JENNYS POV 

Jennys POV

I smiled to myself after the conversation with Jax. I really gotta stop liking him but I can't help it. I decided to text Kate and tell her my situation and that I may need her to lead next practice. Also that I talked to Jax for her. 

TEXTS BETWEEN JENNY AND KATE 

Jenny: Hey i wanted to let you know tht my parents r back in town apparently. Ig they decided they want to be parents now. w/tht being said i may need u to run next prac. Idk if imma be menatlly up to it. It will give u some experience for when i graduate in 2 years. Bc u will be cheer captain. Since ur co-captain. I dont plan on changing co-captains any time soon. ALso i tlked to jax he said he will help u just lay off the flirtness lol 

Kate: Oh yikes. Yeah thts fine. Thank u for giving me the spot. I wasnt expecting it since i was so mean to u. I will talk to my friends and tell them to not to be mean to u anymore lol. And thnk u or speaking 2 jax for me and i promise to lay off the flirting 

Jenny: Yea like i said ur the next best on the team. Of course i picked u and yea tht would be great and ur welcome im going to bed now gn

Kate: gn see u tmw at school 

BACK TO JENNYS POV 

Jennys POV

I turned off my phone and put it on the charger. Turned off my bedside lamp. I turned on my TV and watched some shows. After about an hour. I turned off my tv and laid down and went to sleep!
