Jennys POV 

When we walk inside the restaurant. I look out in awe it is so beautiful. I also wonder why Jax brought me here. It does not make any sense. I guess we will see. The waiter pulls out our chairs with us and we sit down and they push our chair up. I take my napkin and lay it across my lap. The waiters poured us some sparkling cider and some water. They also brought out the first course which was soup. I look at Jax with a curious look and say, “Why did you bring me here? I thought this was a friendly dinner? This is more romantic.” Jax did not show any emotion which really weirded me out and he said, “Well I promised to help with Kate's dad. I talked to Kate and asked where he usually goes for his business dinners and the days. She said here and he has dinners every day of the week except for fridays. I figured if he sees us on a date and we look convincing he will back off.” I was a little disappointed at first because I think I like Jax. But I know we should just be friends. I also do not want to ruin our friendship and I just nodded and said, “Makes sense.” I see that Kate's father walked into the restaurant with his other business associates and he happens to look our way and is surprised to see Jax there with me. 

He walks over to the table and says, “Jax what are you doing here and who is this lady?” Jax smirked and replied to Kate’s dad, “Mr. Paxton, what a surprise to see you here, this is my girlfriend Jenny. Jenny is an associate of my dad and he is always trying to get me to hook up with his daughter Kate. Matter of fact I think you know Kate, she is your new co-captain.” I smiled at Jax and then looked at Mr. Paxton said, “Yes I do believe I know Kate she is my co-captain on the cheer team now. Mr. Paxton I am so sorry but Jax is my boyfriend. I'm sorry I do not think he will be going out with your daughter any time soon.” Mr. Paxton grunted and walked back to his table of associates. Jax and I finished eating. We went back and changed and we said our goodbyes and I got into my car and decided to text Kate about what happened. 

THE TEXT BETWEEN KATE AND JENNY 

Jenny: hey jus 2 let u know but jax set up some kind of plan to get ur dad off ur back. He kinda took me to the restaurant and jax introduced me as his gf. Jus wanted to let u know idk how ur dad is going to react 

Kate: I hope this works. Bc i like someone else and my dad would not go for it if hes convinced tht jax is a free man 

Jenny: ooo i wont ask who but i want details later and me too. If we have to keep up the charade im sure we can. I need to get home its late. Also i think imma have u run prac tmw

Kate: Ok i def will and ok sounds good by jenny 

Jenny: Bye kate :)

BACK TO JENNY'S POV 

Jennys Pov

I started my car and drove back home. Once I got into the house I ran up the stairs and got ready for bed and set my alarm and laid my head down to sleep with a smile on my face.
