Jennys POV 

I got up the next morning and hopped into the shower, did my makeup, did my hair, and got my clothes on. I got all my stuff together for school and checked my messages and notifications on my phone. Went downstairs, ate breakfast and headed out the door for school. I happened to glance to my right and I saw the asshole Jax get on his motorcycle and ride off. I just rolled my eyes, got into my car and drove to school. 

I got to school 20 minutes later and I see that Jax made it before me. Everyone was whispering and gossiping. Probably because nobody ever drives a motorcycle to school and he looks like something out of a gangster type movie. My “best friend” Emily ran up to me and yelled at me all angry like, “WHAT DID YOU SAY TO TYLER. HE DOES NOT WANT TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH ME. BECAUSE, YOU AND HIM WANT TO WORK THINGS OUT.” I had to take a deep breath because I do not take kindly to people yelling at me. I replied with, “FYI I told Tyler we are not working anything out he told me he wanted to and he doesn't want to have a relationship with you. I told him that I do not appreciate throwing you away like trash. I even secretly recorded the conversation because I knew this would happen. I will send you the recording.” I got my phone out of my pocket and unlocked it and got the recording and sent it to Emily and said, “There you have it, now if you're down yelling at me like a spoiled brat I have to get to class. Emily I want this friendship to work but if you are going to keep yelling at me and accusing me of shit. MAYBE I NEED TO FIND ME A NEW BEST FRIEND!”. Emily gasped and I just shoved past her. 

As I was heading to my first class. Jax had stopped me and told me to wait until he needed to talk to me. He had apologized for his behavior and that he was just upset that he had to move. That his ex-girlfriend cheated on him a week before he moved. I told him that it was okay. I also told him about the Tyler situation and he said that he was a jerk. I ended up telling him that he can sit with me at lunch if you want and I will show him the ropes. He nodded and said he would like that. I headed to Math. 

After class, Kate had the nerve to back off of the new hot guy and I told her, “Oh Kate sweety  do not sound desperate, that is not attractive. Besides, even if I did want him. In which I do not, I have a better chance.” I walked up real close and personal and said, “He is my next door neighbor and he had dinner over at my house.” As I walked past her I stopped and turned and looked at her and said, “Oh did I forget to mention one thing we are hanging out at my house after school and I also have his number. Who knows, maybe if you open your legs like you always do you might have a chance. That's the only way you know how to get a guy.” She huffed and yelled, “Imma tell Coach Jamie on what you said and then she for sure will kick you off the head captain spot because she doesn't condone bullying.”. I laughed and smirked, “Oh honey I already sent the recording of our conversation to her. You should worry about getting benched and laps to run.” She just huffed and walked away. 

One thing about me is I record conversations when I see fit. To protect me because I am not going to let anybody run me over. At lunch Jax sat with me Tyler was glaring at me the whole time and Emily was begging so desperately for his attention. I wish she would just know her worth but you can't help the ones that don't want to be helped. After my other classes, I told Jax if he wants he can come over and we can study together he said he would. He said that I am like his best friend. I said I am honored to be his best friend. 

Jax followed me home and he said he was going to tell his dad and step-mom that he's coming over to my house and I said I'll do the same to my grandma. I smiled as I walked in the house feeling happy as ever!
