Chapter 012 Send You Straight to the Morgue

[At the Residence of the Jackson family]

"Are you worried about the operation tomorrow, Senior Mrs. Jackson?"

Looking at her sitting in front of the window worriedly, Will said to her submissively.

Although she hadn't shown any difference in the past two days, he had a hunch that she must be in a bad mood now. After all, he had been serving her for so many years.

"Randolph's operation must go smoothly tomorrow," Senior Mrs. Jackson said.

The silver-haired lady was still hale and hearty. Without any emotion, she had an air of calmness and dignity.

"Yes, Junior Mr. Jackson's operation will definitely go well," Will quickly echoed.

He believed that Randolph was so cute and sensible that he would be blessed by God for sure.

However, Senior Mrs. Jackson heaved a sigh, saying, "Who I'm most worried about is Carr now. When can he save me some trouble?"

As she said, she shook her head helplessly.

"Did I do something wrong, Will?" Looking out the window at the dark night, Senior Mrs. Jackson said gloomily.

As soon as Will heard that, he widened his eyes in shock.

During almost twenty years serving Senior Mrs. Jackson, he had never heard her say such discouraging words.

"Senior Mrs. Jackson, Mr. Jackson will understand your care and thought," he said respectfully while nodding.

But Senior Mrs. Jackson shook her head when hearing that, stopping talking about it.

Instead, she suddenly lowered her voice, saying, "Tell him not to go to the hospital tomorrow, so as not to annoy Carr."

Hearing that, Will nodded and then left Senior Mrs. Jackson's room.

Needless to ask, he knew who Senior Mrs. Jackson was pointing to.

He wasn't anyone else but Abner, the chairman of the Jackson Group, the father of Carr as well as the son of Senior Mrs. Jackson.

He used to live in the Residence of the Jackson family, but he moved out after that incident three years ago.

After that, he rarely came back here.

Even when he came back, Senior Mrs. Jackson would always give him attitude.

The two of them used to get along well with each other, but suddenly, they became the most familiar strangers!

The more Will thought about it, the more pity he felt for them.

Therefore, without thinking much, he quickly went downstairs to call Abner to deliver Senior Mrs. Jackson's order.

At this time in the hospital, Giselle was almost killed by Carr!

"Well, I'll take care of Randolph here tonight. Since you have to enter the operation room tomorrow, you'd better have a rest."

Looking at Carr who arrived at the door of the ward, Giselle whispered.

She had tried her best to calm her voice as if nothing had happened last night in order not to let Randolph notice her abnormality.

"Mommy, I'm a big boy now, so you don't need to stay by my side all the time."

As if he was going to teach Giselle a lesson, Randolph pretended to frown seriously.

"I need to take care of my son's feelings for the operation tomorrow." After finishing speaking without turning his head, Carr walked out.

Seeing that, Giselle took a deep breath and turned to Randolph, saying, "Is it really okay if I'm not here tonight, Randolph?"

Randolph nodded as soon as he heard that, replying, "Mommy, you'll have to take care of me when my operation is finished tomorrow, so you must go back tonight to gain enough energy."

Looking at him helplessly, Giselle said a few more words because she couldn't get relieved.

Only then did she turn around to follow Carr out.

When she followed him to the large french window outside the ward, she stopped.

Carr had no intention of saying anything after standing still, and neither did Giselle.

She didn't want to guess what he was going to say because she couldn't think of anything else but those insulting words.

Therefore, Giselle thought it was a waste of time since he wouldn't talk to her calmly anyway.

"Giselle, what do you want?"

Giselle subconsciously looked up at his face in the window.

The man frowned with his deep dark eyes narrowed coldly.

No one knew why he was so worked up over this question.

And his persistence didn't help.

Because he wouldn't believe anything she said, would he?

"Mr. Jackson, you have an operation tomorrow. So please go back to your ward and have a nice sleep."

She exhaled with her eyes closed. Then she opened her eyes again and looked straight into his deep, cold gaze.

She was worried about him and also Randolph who was alone.

"Anyway, you must have a good rest tonight. And you can stay as father and son after the operation."

Giselle was right. However, the man was somehow irritated.

Carr turned around abruptly and grabbed Giselle's slender neck when she was off guard.

"Ah!"

Giselle shouted instinctively. Then she immediately felt a warm breath and a pair of strong hands were on her neck!

And Carr, who was gripping Giselle's neck, stared at her with his teeth gritted.

Giselle could see that anger flared in his eyes, looking not as cold and penetrating as before.

Suddenly, he gripped her neck even harder.

His grip givGiselle a shiver and she was gooseflesh all over.

Soon, the unbearable suffocation suddenly hit her, making her struggle to grab Carr's hand.

"Giselle, do you think I'll give you time to speak ill of me in front of Randolph again?"

"You hypocritical bitch! I should have known that you would be capable of anything to achieve your goal, including using your child. Now I need to reexamine you!"

Carr stared at Giselle with his deep, cold eyes, and his sharp face was tense.

Giselle felt like she was dying under Carr's angry gaze.

"No, I... I didn't."

Giselle still did not want Carr to misunderstand her.

Randolph was her baby and her only hope. She would never make use of him.

She wouldn't say anything bad about Carr to Randolph.

Because... it was too numerous to be listed!

"C... Carr, let me go!"

Giselle kept tugging at Carr's hand, but how could she get rid of a man who was ten times stronger than her?

"I... I have never... said anything bad about you to Randolph."

It took her life to say this short sentence.

And her face had turned red because of suffocation.

"Oh, never? You think I'll believe you?"

"Giselle, you should be glad that Randolph is sick now, or I kill you right now!"

A cold light flashed in Carr's eyes. Then he loosened his grip.

As soon as she was released, Giselle staggered back, leaned against the wall, slowly slid down, and breathed heavily.

For a moment, Giselle thought she would be killed for sure!

"Giselle, Randolph is leaving with me after the operation!"
