Chapter 007 Accidentally Choked on Himself

Walking out of the inpatient building, Carr sat on a resting bench and looked at the family of three laughing and playing under a tree not far away from him.

The child looked five or six years old, wearing a hospital gown with the same pale face as Randolph.

But there was a bright smile on his face.

Perhaps because he knew how serious the illness was, the child sat in a wheelchair, looked up at a man and a woman, and asked softly, "Dad, mom, will I get better?"

"Baby, trust me. You will be fine."

The child smiled and continued to say with some difficulty, "I believe you. I still want to have fun in the amusement parks, and I want to learn box from dad, and he hasn't taught me how to drive..."

The child's words were like magic, kept ringing in Carr's ears.

Would he look forward to his father's appearance and do something with me?>

Carr even thought that if he taught Randolph, he would be an excellent teacher.

But as long as he thought about the child's last look at him, he would feel even more disappointed.

He felt an overwhelming sense of loss!

The summer wind slowly blew towards his face, hot and dry, which made Carr feel depressed and annoyed.

He had never been a heavy smoker, but now his mouth was bitter.

He stood there for a moment and then walked towards the hospital store.

After buying a box of cigarettes randomly, he walked back to the bench in the garden and sat down.

He lit one and took two puffs, but he accidentally choked himself for his strong inhaling.

Then he bent over and coughed violently.

Coughing, Carr raised his hand to cover his left chest.

He could sense the sharp pain under there.

The cigarette between his fingertips exuded smoke, making his eyes ache.

But Randolph's stare at him just now hurt him more.

He thought that he could face the child calmly today and remain composed.

But Randolph's pair of dark eyes, which were exactly the same as Carr's, instantly removed all his disguise.

He could even tell that the child... was resisting to face him!

As soon as this idea appeared in Carr's mind, his first reaction was that the woman must have spoken ill about him in front of the child.

Otherwise, a child wouldn't have that look. If someone hadn't deliberately gossiped in front of him, he wouldn't have known anything at all.

In that case, he wouldn't show a resistible look but should be overjoyed.

The more he thought about it, the crazier Carr felt.

All his mind was filled with the child's things, and he wanted to do something to change the plight!

He... wanted to let Randolph like him!

Carr thought in a daze. His heart was filled with this strange but exciting feeling, which made him restless.

Deep in thought, he didn't even hear his phone ring. It was only when the child who was under the tree sitting in a wheelchair came to pat Carr's hand with his small hand that he suddenly realized it.

"Uncle, your phone is ringing." The child's soft voice could easily remind Carr of Randolph's soft voice when he called him "Daddy."

"Uncle?"

Seeing that the strange man was still unresponsive, the child called out softly again.

Only then did Carr realize someone was talking to him. He looked at the cigarette in his other hand and immediately extinguished it then threw it into the trash can next to him. After that, he look at the child and said in a soft tone.

"What's wrong?"

"Your phone is ringing."

Hearing this, Carr finally found his phone was vibrating and took it out of his pocket calmly. Seeing the caller, he put it back.

"Aren't you going to answer it?" the child asked curiously.

Carr looked around and found that the man and the woman had gone somewhere, leaving the child here alone.

"It doesn't matter. Are you sick?"

Perhaps even Carr himself didn't know how gentle and careful his tone was when he spoke to the child.

Also, he didn't know why he could tell the child everything he was thinking without any precaution.

After they chatted for a while, the child's parents came back.

The kid said to Carr with a bright smile before leaving, "Sir, I believe your son will like you. You are such a gentle person, after all."

>

Suddenly, he didn't dare to think about it.

At seven o'clock in the evening, Carr arrived at the LC Hotel.

Just as he came out of the shower, he received a call from his assistant, Algernon Terry.

"What is it?" he asked coldly.

Algernon replied respectfully, "Mr. Jackson, the Jackson Group begins to move."

Carr's expression immediately became serious and his eyes glittered with anger, making people shudder.

I have not even been in R City for 24 hours, but they are already ready to do something.>

>

"Ignore it."

>

"Yes, Mr. Jackson. By the way, everything has been arranged during your operation. May I ask if there are any other instructions?"

"No."

Giving Algernon this brief answer, he hung up the phone.

When Giselle entered the room by the room card given to her by the front desk, she saw a hot scene.

Carr was wearing a nightgown, with one hand around his chest and the other holding a glass of red wine, casually standing in front of the french window in the living room.

His sexy and muscular chest was revealed because the nightgown was not properly dressed.

His skin was a healthy tan.

Under the exquisite chandelier, he seemed to be shining.

The light made his face more handsome and charming.

Looking at him dumbfoundedly, Giselle even didn't notice he had undressed his nightgown.

When her senses came back, his mermaid lines and eight sexy muscles in his abdomen had shown in front of her.

A drop of water fell from his dark hair to his chest and slowly slid down the muscular curve.

And Giselle's eyes couldn't help but follow the drip down.

"What? You can't wait for me to press you down to... Fuck you?"

Carr's sneer was like a bucket of ice water that was poured down from her head, which froze her in an instant.
