Chapter 003 After the Divorce, Be My Lover

"What?"

Giselle didn't get what he meant, so she didn't know why he asked her in such a mocking tone again.

"You want another child to inherit the Jackson family." Carr's deep eyes narrowed dangerously, and a cold light flashed in the bottom of his eyes. His handsome face looked tense, and his thin lips were tightly pressed into a cold and firm line.

"No, I didn't. I just hope you can save Randolph."

Giselle's eyes were filled with pleading.

She really didn't think this way. She just hoped that he could save Randolph who suffered a lot at a young age.

"Is that all?"

Suddenly, Carr stepped forward. When Giselle had no way to go, Carr stretched out his arms and trapped her between him and the wall.

At that moment, Giselle could feel Carr's breath, and she was too stiff to resist.

"Giselle, did you forget what I said when I left?"

After Carr said it, Giselle was full of mixed feelings with her eyes widened.

She was seething with fear, uneasiness, and hesitation.

Seeing Giselle's frightened look, Carr continued with satisfaction, "It seems that you still remember."

"In that case, how can I let you down after you offend me?" Although Carr had an elegant smile on his face, Giselle thought it was full of irony.

Before she could say anything, Carr continued, "You are so hypocritical. I feel disgusted to see you."

Carr's slightly oppressive posture made Giselle feel very uncomfortable.

But his words made her raise her head subconsciously and she looked straight into Carr's deep and cold eyes.

When Giselle first saw him, she knew that she would fall in love with him.

Now, this face appeared in front of her again. They were so close that she could see her face reflected in Carr's dark eyes.

Giselle was not short. Although she was wearing slippers, she could look into his eyes raising her head slightly.

Giselle's gaze made Carr frown slightly, dissatisfied.

Suddenly, Carr freed a hand and wrapped it around Giselle's waist tightly, letting her get closer.

"Giselle, don't get me into any trouble!"

He hummed the words coldly with anger and hatred.

"As long as you can save Randolph, I can do anything you want me to do, including leaving the Jackson family."

Giselle stared into Carr's dark eyes and said firmly.

It seemed that she couldn't think of anything else that could calm the angry man in front of her down.

Deep in thought, she had an answer in her heart.

He would even think that I was looking for an excuse for her vanity.>

>

She only had Randolph, her only son. She would risk everything for him.

"Well, are you willing to leave the Jackson family?"

He thought that Giselle, a scheming woman, has ulterior motives when she promised to leave the Jackson family after she tried her best to marry into the family.

>

"I can do it!"

She could do everything for Randolph!

Listening to Giselle's words, Carr bent closer to her, his eyes like those of a lion waiting for its prey to approach, fixing on hers.

It was not until now that he gave a decent look at the woman who had been his spouse for three years.

It suddenly dawned on him that she was not wearing makeup.

In spite of that, her skin was as delicate and fair as a baby's. Perhaps because of her high fever, her cheeks were faintly suffused with color while her lips were a little pale.

The mere glance at her made his heart skip a beat.

However, the enchantment disappeared in an instant!

Carr's hand on Giselle's waist was so strong that she had to tilt her head back in an awkward position to keep a distance from him lest there be any intimate contact under the circumstances.

It turned out that such a posture made a beautiful arc of her slender neck, the skin of which was fine and smooth, extending all the way to the depression of her collarbone.

"You don't believe me?" Giselle gazed at the man in surprise.

Why doesn't he believe me when I've already stated it explicitly?>

"What do you have that I can believe in?"

Carr's frigid words brought Giselle to her senses. >

"Then tell me what I have to do to save Randolph."

Giselle knew that with Senior Mrs. Jackson's order, Carr would definitely go to the hospital, but he also had the ability to change the result of the match.

She knew exactly what kind of person he was.

He would never be forced to do anything!

The exception was that he married her three years ago!

During the three years, Carr didn't show the merest care for Randolph, so she cherished no hope that he would save Randolph just because Randolph was his son!

She could only plead with him to have mercy and save Randolph.

"You will do anything I tell you to?" Carr narrowed his eyes menacingly and kept approaching Giselle's face.

"Yes, as long as..."

Before Giselle could finish speaking, the phone in Carr's pocket gave an untimely ring.

Carr let go of his arm around her waist and took out the phone. When he saw who the caller was, he abruptly turned to the window and answered the phone.

Seeing this, Giselle gave a self-mocking laugh. There was no one else who concerned him so much except that woman.

Giselle pondered on what happened three years ago, not aware that Carr had hung up the phone and quietly stood in front of her again.

"I'll go to the hospital." Carr's indifferent voice slowly sounded, bringing Giselle back to the reality.

At his words, her face lit up. "Okay, thank you. See you at the hospital tomorrow."

He agreed, which meant that her Randolph could finally enjoy his life like a normal child.

When she brushed past him, Carr's eyes turned cold. He reached out and grabbed her arm tightly, his voice tinged with anger. "Do you think it will be so simple?"

"What do you want? Tell me."

Giselle asked resignedly, knowing that he wouldn't do it for nothing.

But she would accept whatever requirement the man in front of her put forward.

At this moment, she was full of joy that her Randolph could be saved, not expecting that Carr was about to utter something totally devastating.

"Divorce."

Hearing this, Giselle only paused for a second before replying, "Okay, I agree."

To her astonishment, Carr's next words were excruciatingly humiliating.

"After the divorce, be my lover!"
