Chapter 005 Hello, I'm Ruirui

It was the next day.

Randolph got up early in the morning.

With a grim expression, Randolph waited for a long time before asking Giselle in his childish voice, eyes fixed on her, "Mom, must I meet Carr?"

Hearing this, Giselle thought for a moment, answering Randolph with a smile, "Why?"

"I, I'm not ready yet." Randolph lowered his head as he spoke.

Compared to other children, Randolph was a precocious child, with his own thoughts on everything he did.

He insisted on waiting for Giselle before going to sleep last night.

When Giselle told him that Carr would come to the hospital to see him the next day, Randolph was as silent and expressionless as just now.

Giselle understood what was in Randolph's mind. After all, he was her son.

Although Carr had indeed ignored them for three years, Giselle could not allow Randolph to think this way.

"Randolph, are you angry with your dad?"

"Mommy, daddy won't like me." As Randolph spoke, his already pale face turned even paler.

Giselle darted a worried look on Randolph, heart-thumping, wondering why Randolph said that.

"Randolph, how do you know he won't like you since you haven't met him?"

"He will definitely not like me."

Randolph's tone was a little more firm than before.

"Randolph, I don't know why you think so, but if your father doesn't like you, will he carefully prepare gifts for you at every festival?"

Giselle gently held Randolph's hand and persuaded him patiently.

Randolph's face was extremely pale because of his weak constitution.

However, at the sight of Randolph's pair of inky black eyes, which were exactly the same as Carr's, Giselle would sometimes exclaimed the magic bond.

"Randolph, daddy will definitely like you because you are cute and smart."

Seeing that Randolph was still unhappy, Giselle turned around and leaned on the bed. She held Randolph in her arms and continued, "Randolph, don't you believe what mommy said?"

"Yes."

"Then tell me, why do you think your daddy won't adore you?"

Hearing this, Randolph knitted his eyebrows and began to think seriously.

Giselle felt heartbreaking at this scene.

She couldn't help but wonder whether Carr would come today since she escaped last night.

Giselle was afraid that he would change the result of today's examination because of what happened yesterday.

She couldn't read Carr, and she didn't know what he would do.

The only thing she was worried about now was that he would not come, or that he would come but did not want to save Randolph.

In that case, how to save Randolph?

"Mommy, I'm just not ready to see daddy."

After thinking for a while, Randolph suddenly said and scowled.

Ever since he was born, only mommy had been by his side, and he had never seen daddy.

Randolph knew a lot, even though Giselle thought he was only a child.

He didn't tell Giselle what he knew to set her mind at rest.

Every time the children in the kindergarten bullied him, they would say that their parents told them that Randolph was a child abandoned by his father!

Randolph also heard the conversation between his great-grandmother and Will.

Adults thought that children knew nothing, but he knew what happened.

>

> Randolph thought.

"Randolph, people won't have enough time to get prepared for everything. The person you would meet is your father, so you don't need to prepare anything."

Just as Giselle was comforting Randolph, she heard a knock on the door.

"Randolph, your great-grandmother is coming."

Before Giselle could get up to open the door, Senior Mrs. Jackson opened the door and walked in, followed by Will and Carr.

When Giselle suddenly saw Carr, she felt her heart skipped a beat but she covered quickly.

"Great grandma."

Randolph called out in a childish tune, looking at the old lady with a cute smile and greeting her happily.

Senior Mrs. Jackson felt worried at the sight of Randolph.

"You suffered a lot in the hospital. I'm so sorry for you."

She sat by the bed and gently stroked Randolph's hair.

"Great-grandmother, don't worry about me. When the doctor came to check, he told mommy that I'm better now. If you don't believe me, you can ask mommy."

Hearing this, Senior Mrs. Jackson and Giselle both felt heartbreaking.

Randolph was really sensible. He knew how to calm the people around him at such a young age.

Senior Mrs. Jackson turned her head and caught a glimpse of Carr. She collected herself, took Randolph's little hand, and said, "Randolph, look, who did I bring to you? Didn't you tell me that you missed daddy?"

"Now that your daddy is back, are you happy?"

The originally happy atmosphere became a little awkward because of the introduction.

Senior Mrs. Jackson felt worried at Randolph's silence.

Giselle immediately thought of what Randolph had just said to her.

Without waiting for Senior Mrs. Jackson to speak again, she quickly smiled and said to Randolph, "Randolph, are you happy?"

Hearing Giselle's voice, Randolph smiled at the old lady and said, "Thank you for bringing daddy here, great-grandma."

After saying that, Randolph shift his look at Carr, who had not said a word since he entered the door.

Though seeing the tall man many times in newspapers, magazines, and on TV, Randolph met him personally for the first time.

This man was his father, who abandoned him!

But Randolph felt nervous when meeting his father in this way.

Familiar with Carr on the TV, Randolph didn't even dare to blink when Carr stood in front since he was afraid that his father would disappear.

Carr was dressed in a handmade black suit just like yesterday.

He was over 1.85 meters tall and handsome. With ink black eyebrows and charming eyes, he showed a perfect face of strong virile feeling.

This was the kind of daddy that Randolph wanted!

Randolph liked the man in front of him very much.

>

Randolph's silence froze the atmosphere again.

But even so, Carr still had no intention of speaking. The two of them looked at each other silently.

Just as Giselle was a little worried, Randolph said slowly, "Hello, daddy, I'm Randolph."
