Chandler's POV
"We're gonna have to go downstairs sooner or later." Clay pushed the hair out of my face.
"I'm just not wanting to talk to them right now Clay. Can't you use your alpha thing and tell them to leave me alone." He chuckled.
"Chandler, their your family. They only thought it was for the best." I layed on my bed looking up at the ceiling. Who would have thought Clayton would be the one who is the mature one right now.
"Why do you have to make so much sense. Seriously it should be me in this position and you in mine." He sat up and turned to hover over me.
"Ummm what is that supposed to mean?" Narrowing his eyes at me.
"Let's face Clay your the one who is the most stubborn." His mouth dropped.
"No I think we both are pretty dang stubborn. I'm not the one who refuses to go down stairs to talk to my parents." He gave me a victory smile.
"Well, have you talked to Luke since yesterday." He got an angry expression on his face.
"After what he did to you. I'm never talking to him again. How could you want me to be nice to him after what he did." I brought my hand to his cheek and rubbed my thumb over it.
"He's your brother. Even though I'm mad at my family for keeping this from me. I still love them."
"Since I was in the 9th grad and he was 8th something happened. We have never been close since then. There are some times were I could ring his neck. I don't for my parents sake."
"Couldn't you at least talk to him about it."
"If he's not willing to do it then I'm not. I don't want to hear what he has to say."
"Would you do it for me?" I knew I would get him with that. It might have been bad I use that. Even though I'm still mad at Luke, they are still brothers. They have to stay close for their sister.
"You knew I couldn't say no when you said that didn't you?" I gave him a little smile and he shook his head.
"Yes I did. I know your still going to get into fights. That's a given. Your personalities won't always mesh. But, just try for your parents are your sister. You could probably get him to be nicer to Suzie." He gave me a half smile.
"You sound pretty confident in thinking this will work."
"I just don't want you to regret no trying. And if you don't do it for your family just do it for me. Cause it's what I want for you." He rolled his eyes.
"I can't ever say no to you."
"It's cause your whipped babe." I gave him a few taps on his cheek. He smiled and shook his head. "Well I guess I should go down stairs." He nodded.
"I'll be with you. I will do whatever you need me to do." He leaned down and gave me a peck on the lips.
"You could take me out after this." I gave him a smile.
"Oh I have already planned that." He gave me mischievious smile.
"How do you already have that planned. Or that I'd even agree to it."
"I didn't I just hoped you would. Now let's go get this over with so we can go." He patted the side of my hip.
"Yes sir." I gave him a salute and he stood up and pulled me with him. He pulled me towards the door and opened it. We went out the door and headed towards the stairs. "I think I'll take a piggy back to go down the stairs." He turned to me.
"Aren't you the one who says I shouldn't fuss over you." He looked at me with his eyebrow raised.
"Yeah but, I feel faint." I pretended to fall back. He grabbed my arm and I looked at him. He rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"Get on you sickly woman." I laughed as he turned around and I jumped to his back.
"You can't say you don't like this cause, I know you'd be lieing." I said as I placed my chin on his shoulder.
"I won't deny it then." We both laughed as we got to the bottom of the stairs and we headed for the family room.  We got in there and Danny and Nelly were siting on the couch watching T.V.
"Where's mom and dad?" I looked at them both. Both of them raised their eyebrows at me. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Oh well we didn't think you would want to talk to them for a while longer." Clayton started to chuckle and I smacked his shoulder.
"Well where are they?"
"They went to the store to get groceries and stuff." Nelly said as she looked at the position me and Clayton were in. Yeah this would probably look awkward to someone who didn't know about the mate thing. Also that they new we only knew eachother for three days.
"Oh well, we are going to go then." I started to get down as Danny stood up.
"Where are you guys going. Mom and Dad are going to be gone for a while and there's nothing to do here." He gave us an annoying smile. I looked over at Clayton who just smiled.
"Well if you want you guys can come with us." I looked up at Clayton with my mouth opened. His he crazy. "Well we are going back to our cabin. So they could stay there with my family while I take you somewhere."
"Where would this somewhere be."
"It's a surprize." He looked down at me and smiled. I sighed and turned to my siblings.
"Ok you guys can come. But you better be on your best behavior. I don't want his parents thinking you've been raised by wild wolves." I paused for a minute. Never did I think that statement would come true. They all started to laugh a little. "Anyways, if you guys don't your coming back got it." They both nodded. "Ok one of you better call mom or dad to tell them."
"Danny will do it." Nelly yelled and ran to us. Danny sighed and went into the kitchen to call them.
"Ok well you probably will want to get a swimming suit then." She nodded and ran to go up stairs.
"They said it would be fine." Danny came out of the kitchen.
"They go get your swimming suit."
"We're going swimming?"
"Well there's a lake up there so yeah. And Suzie will be there to." His grin got bigger.
"Awesome. I'll be back." He turned and ran. Clayton laughed and shook his head.
"I remember when I would get excited to see girls." I turned and looked at him
"Don't you still get excited about that."
"Well, only about one girl now." I felt the blush come to my cheeks. "Go get a swimming suit as well."
"We're swimming to?"
"It's a special place I'm taking you to." He smiled at me. "Well let's go get your swimming suit." He turned and bent down. "Hop on." He smiled and jumped onto his back.
"I think my brother will really like your sister. I don't know why I just got a feeling."
"I've felt the same way. Ever since I met him." We walked up to my room and he set me down. I went to my closet and got another suit and my bag from yesterday and emptied everything out and got a new towel and put them in it. I slipped another shirt over my tank top and put a pair of flip flops on and grabbed the once I borrowed from Suzie and put it in my bag also.
"Alright I'm ready."
"You look really pretty." I smiled. He came to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"You told me that yesterday." I wrapped my arms around his neck. I can't believe how comfortable this feels.
"And it's as true today as it was yesterday." He leaned down and slowly kissed me. The shocks that happen everytime we kiss I will never get used. It almost feels like pop rocks in your mouth just on your lips.
"That is just really gross." We both turned to see Danny leaning on the door frame.
"Danny haven't we gone through you knocking before coming in here. Or do I need to help the door this time hit you in the face." Clayton chuckled.
"I'll hide your guitar again if you do it." He folded his arms.
"Touch my guitar and I will hurt."
"You have a guitar?" I looked up and Clay who was looking down at me.
"Yeah I do."
"Do you play?"
"I do."
"Cool your gonna have to play for me some time. Anyways lets get going." He grabbed my hand and pulled me with him. We went down the stairs and outside.
"You guys actually have the same car?" Danny said as we shut the door.
"Yes we do Danny. Now if you talk badly about either one your walking." He held his hands in surrender.
"Hey I wasn't doing any such thing.I just think yours is better."
"Excuse me." Clay turned and narrowed his eyes at Danny. "How is your sisters better than mine." Oh great this is gonna be an interesting conversation.
"First of all my sisters is the older model. Which is the best you can get. Second it's been redone almost completely. You can't get better than a classic here." We all got into Clay's car and I just kept laughing and shaking my head.
"Hey quit your laughing. He's making fun of my ride." He said as he started the car.
"I'm sorry. Your car is great to."
"Not as great as your Chandler."
"Danny your gonna in trouble if you keep arguing with Clay on this."
"I'm only being honest."
"How about you be less honest and just stop talking about it." It went silent for a little while. As we were driving we were going passed the place we stopped yesterday. I couldn't help but start to giggle.
"I know what your laughing at and it's not funny. I'm still feeling that today." He started to rub his thigh. I just kept laughing.
"What are you guys laughing at?" Nelly leaned forward from the back.
"We got into an arguement yesterday and I kind of kicked Clay where it counts."
"Kinda. No she jack hammered me." Me and Nelly started to laugh.
"Oh I've been kicked by both of them before. It hurt so bad. They fight dirty." Danny spoke up.
"Tell me about it." They laughed as we pulled up to the cabin.
"Holy crap this place is huge." Danny said as we got out of the car.
"Yeah well we have a pretty big pack that we accomidate."
"What it's no longer family. It's a pack now." I said with my eyebrow.
"We only say family for the humans."
"Yeah I've noticed." We walked to the front door and walked in. I watched both my sister and brothers faces as they looked around. They're mouths were open as they saw just how amazing the house was. "Guys your gonna catch flies if you don't close your mouths." They looked at me and Clay with embarrased smiles.
"I'll show you guys the guest room so you can change into your swim suit's." He pulled me with him as he showed them the guest room. We left them and we went to his room. "You can use the bathroom and I'll use my closet." I nodded and went into the bathroom. I took my cloths off and slipped my bikini on. I put my tank top and shorts over it and went out of the bathroom. I came out to a bright red Nelly and Danny was laughing while Clayton was sitting on the bed with a smile.
"What's going on here." I walked over to Clayton and he wrapped his arm my lower half. "Why are you blushing Nelly." She turned away and blushed even more.
"She saw Clayton with out his shirt on." Danny said as he was laughing.
"Don't worry Nelly I did the exact same thing when I saw him yesterday. He's good lookin huh." She went reder and Clayton shook his head.
"Ok let's not embarrass her to much. Let's go down stairs." He stood up and grabbed my hand. "I think my parents are on the deck. Suzy will most likely be there to if Luke been his normal idiot self and left her there."
"Why would he leave her there?" We both looked back at Danny. Clay nodded to me to have me tell him.
"Well, Danny. Suzy is really sick Danny. She isn't strong enough to go around so we have to help her. Luke was mean to her yesterday and didn't take her to the lake with his friends. So we took her with us and he was mean to her down at the lake when we got there. So try to make feel like she's an awesome girl ok. Cause Luke makes her feel bad all the time." I could tell Clay was getting mad when I talked about Luke.
"Oh yeah no problem. Do you guys smell that Strawberry and Vanilla smell. It's like I don't know but, I've never smelt anything like it. It's amazing." Me and Clay looked at eachother.
"No." We both said in unison.
"Hmmm weird." We turned and went down stairs and into the kitchen. We walked to the back door and opened. Like Clay said all three of them were outside.
"Oh Chandler your here." Karen came and pulled me from Clay and hugged me. "It's so nice to see you again." She looked behind me. "Oh were are my manners. Who might these two be."
"Mom this is Danny and Jenielle. Chandlers younger brother and sister.
"Oh it's so nice to meet your two. Hello Danny and hello Jenielle."
"You can call me Nelly. Everyone does." My sister shook her hand.
"That's a really pretty nickname. Well this is my husband Robert." She grabbed Clay's dad by the shoulder and lead him over to us.
"It's nice to meet you all." My brother straightened up like his was his comander in the army. It must be the alpha thing.
"It's nice to meet you sir." They shook eachothers hands.
"That's a good hand shake you got there son. Hello my dear." He grabbed my sisters and shook it with a smile from her. "Well, I'd like you two to meet my daughter Suzie." Both Nelly and Danny turned to look on the other side at Suzie. Who was staring at Danny with a little smile. Nelly hurried over to her.
"Oh my goodness your so pretty. Chandler told me all about you last night. It's so nice to meet you." She came to Suzie's side and Suzie looked away from Danny and up to her. She held her hand out.
"It's really nice to meet you as well." Danny started to slowly walk towards Suzy. He bent down on one knee and Suzie looked to him. Her eyes lit up. Both me and Clayton looked at eachother and smiled and looked back.
"Hello I'm Danny. It's very nice to meet you." He grabbed her hand and kissed the top of it. What in the world has happened to my little brother. He actually kissed her hand. Clay pulled me into his side.
"I'm Suzie. It's nice to meet you as well." I looked over at Clay's parents who were beaming. They looked like my mother did when I told them about Clay and I. Clay bent down to whisper in my ear.
"I believe your brother just found his mate." I looked up at him and smiled.
"We did have a feeling about it." We both laughed.
"I would have done the same thing to you but, that didn't work out so well."
"That's cause you were a little to cocky."
"Yeah but, I still caught you. That's all that matters." He smiled and gave me a peck on the lips. "Well, I'll take you guys down to the lake and then we are gonna lead you down there."
"Why don't you guys go and we'll show them down to the lake." We looked at them. "Luke's down there and we don't want what happened yesterday."
"Oh that won't be happening anymore. Clay promised me." His mom and dad smiled at me.
"Did you actually get him to agree to that?" His dad asked.
"He said he'd try for me." His dad smiled.
"Now I know why he agreed. Well, let's all go down and then you can make sure your siblings are settled before you two go off."
"That sounds great."
"Suzie do you want me to carry you." Clay started to walk towards Suzie.
"I can carry her." Danny stepped up and came to her side. "If that's ok with you."
"Yeah, that would be great." How freakin cute is that. My brother bent down and put his arm under her legs and wrapped his other around her back. "Thank you."
"I would do anything you needed me to." Karen and I awwwed. This was just to cute to watch. Clay turned and grabbed my hand with a huge smile on his face.
"Let's go then." We all walked down the stairs and headed to the lake. We walked in silence just watching the two love birds infront of us. We walked out of the trees and went to the edge of the lake. I helped them both get settled.
"Ok you two please be on your best behavior."
"We will don't worry." Nelly said and her and Danny turned to Suzie. "Let's go in the water."
"I'll help you out." Danny offered and she nodded and he lifted her up and walked to the edge of the water and kept going deeper until he could let her legs go and she held on his arms.
"Ok, thanks for letting them come her." I told his parents.
"Are you kidding dear. We are practically family now. Two ways now actually." We all laughed a little.
"Chandler!" I turned to see who called my name. It was Roxi running to me. She got to me and tackled me to the ground in a hug.
"Oh my gosh Roxi. What was that about." I said as I stood back up and brushed the sand of my body.
"What happened to you texting me yesterday. I was worried." Clay grabbed my hand and her eyes flickered to our clasped hands. "Aaaawww I don't need to ask that question I guess. Well are you guys staying to swim."
"We'll come later. I'm taking Chandler somewhere first." She smiled.
"Ok cool. We got to talk later girly. Oh and Anthony wants to talk to you to Clay"
"Ok I will see you later. Tell everyone hi and we'll be back later." I turned to see everyone on the other side of the beach. They were swinging on the rope swing. Luke was staring over at us. When he noticed I was looking at him he started to get out. Before he came I turned back to Clay. "Well, we better get goin then shall we." He turned and obviously saw Luke.
"We shall. See you guys later." He started to pull me off towards the other side of the beach. As we got to the edge of the trees he stopped. "I'm gonna have to change to my wolf form."
"Why?"
"Cause your gonna have to ride on my back. There's not really a trail for where we are going so it's kind of ruff."
"So I'm gonna ride on your back like a horse?" He rolled his eyes.
"Yes country girl. That shouldn't be to hard for you. It's just that your going to be riding a wolf." I rolled my eyes at him. "I'll be back. You'll have to hold my cloths for me."
"Why?"
"Well if I shift in my cloths they'll be shredded. I know you like lookin at my body but, I'm pretty sure your not gonna want me to be naked the whole time." I felt the heat rise to my cheeks.
"Ok go and bring your cloths back to me." He laughed and went into the trees. I stood there for a moment watching my brother with Suzie. She looks so happy. I'm so glad she got her happy ending. I heard the trees rustling and I turned as saw Clayton's wolf. I heart beat quickened. "I will never get used to knowing that my boyfriend is a giant wolf. You look really pretty though." He snorted. Obviously didn't like my pretty comment. "Ok your extremly handsome in your wolf form." He coughed out a laugh and licked my face. "Ewww Clay that is sick." I wipped my face of with my hand. I looked down and saw his cloths and picked them up and shoved them into my bag. "Well let's get this show on the road then." He nodded and turned and bent down. Ok it's just like a piggy back except it's a giant wolf. I slowly got on and once I was steady he stood up and started to walk. I got a better hold on him and he started to run. I will never be able to describe the feeling of this.
