Clayton's POV
As soon as I heard her heart rate speed up mine did. I don't know if I'm ready to watch this. This is the most painful thing I have ever been through. And to watch the woman that I love go through this is going to be the worst thing ever. The door opened up.
"I take it you did it." Her parents and the doctor came in. Her body started to heat up. Oh no the worst part is coming. Another thing why isn't she making any sound. When I went through this I couldn't contain the screams. But no, not her. She hasn't even made a whimper. Not that I want her to. But, I know that it's hurting her. I'm not liking this at all. I need to know if she's ok. Right then I heard a snap. Oh no here it comes. Her bones are starting to shift. "We need to remove her IV's before she fully shifts." The doctor said as he was taking out out her IV's. I removed her oxygen and that's when her fur started to come. Her body started to elongate and before I knew it a huge White wolf was before me.
"Is she ok then?" Her mom asked as she came up behind me.
"I don't know." I moved toward her and reached my hand out to rub the fur on her face. White wolves are very rare. I've only seen a few. She's so beautiful. As a rubbed my hand back her eyes flicked open. Her beautiful hazel eyes looked up at me.
Chandler's POV
I woke up to something touching my face. My body aches so much. I open my eyes to see Clayton lovingly looking down at me. "Hey beautiful." I lifted my head and my muscles protested as I sat up. I looked down to see paws. I looked up at everyone in the room. They were all smiling at me.
"You are so beautiful sweety." My mom stepped forward.
'Tell her to back away.' Whoa what was that.
"That was your wolf babe. Your gonna have to control her." Clay said as he put his hand on my cheek.
'Tell our mate, that even though he's a fine piece of ass that he needs to control himself.' I made what sounded like a snort but, was trying a laugh.
"Good grief she's as fiesty as you are." Clay laughed as he shook his head. How can he hear that. "Your my mate babe. Now that I claimed you we can hear eachothers thoughts remember." Oh my gosh that is not good at all. He can't know what I think all the time. Wait why can't I hear his? "Cause I know how to put the wall up." I looked back up at him and he was smiling with his eyebrow raised.
"It's ok honey. Just imagine a wall stopping your thoughts and he won't hear them. If you want him to hear them just remove it." I knew I loved that woman. I heard Clay chuckle.. I looked over at him and narrowed my eyes at him.
'Watch it buddy.' His eyebrows raised along with his hands. 'How do I change back. I can't exactly walk out of here as a wolf.'
"You have to picture yourself as a human. And it should happen pretty quickly. I'll warn you it will hurt a little because it's your first time turning back." He started to get nervous. "Um do you want me or your mom to be in here with you."
'Why the heck are you being so nervous." He had a nervous smile come on.
"Do you remember when ever I would turn I would go behind a tree. Do you remember why?" I thought for a minute. As it came to my mind I eyes grew wide. And I'm pretty sure if I didn't have fur I would look like a tomtato.
'My mom. For sure my mother.' He laughed and nodded at me.
"That's what I thought. We'll just leave you two alone." And with that all the men left the room. Thanks heavens.
'I heard that.'
'Ahhh oh my gosh don't do that.' He started to laugh at me in his mind. 'Just wait til I get out there.'
'I'm shaking.' I rolled my eyes.
"Ok honey are you ready?" I nodded. "Lay back so it doesn't hurt so much. I'm gonna cover you with the sheet so your not uncomfortable to be naked infront of your mother." She laughed a little. I rolled my eyes and layed down. "Ok imagine yourself in your human form." I started to picture myself. And as soon as I did my bones started to shift. It was as bad as the first time. But, it still hurt a lot. Before I knew it I was looking up at the lights in the room with tears in my eyes on my back. "Are you alright honey?" Just then the door burst open with Clay running in. I sat up and held the blanket to me.
"Oh my gosh I thought you went back into a comma." He ran to me and wrapped me up in a hug. I stiffened. His arms were squeezing my bare back.
"Ummm babe, I'm gonna need a minute." He pulled back and looked down. He looked back up into my eyes and his cheeks went red.
"I'll just leave you to it." He stepped back and quickly turned and ran out the room. My mom and I started to laugh.
"That boy was as red as a tomato when he realized."
"Ok mom I'm gonna need some cloths."
"Oh right here they are." She grabbed some hospital scrubs that were on the counter. "Sorry you can't wear your boyfriends boxers and shirt out of the hospital." She said and turned to go to the door. "I'll wait outside." I nodded to her as she went out the room and closed the door. I put on my bra and underwear and then quickly put the scrubs on. My muscles ache so much. It's weird to actually be moving. Come to think of it. I got dressed pretty fast. Oh my gosh I have super speed.
'Are you done checking out your new ablities or do you need some more time.' Clay's voice came into my head.
'Hey, this is new for me. You've lived with this stuff your hole freaking life. I however was just introduced to this.'
'Ok Ok can I come in yet.'
'Yes you can. Just you though.' After I said it the door opened and closed quickly and before I knew it I was swept into a hug and lifted from the floor.
"I thought I was never going to see you awake again." He hugged me tighter as I did to him. I have waited way to long to do this. I tried to wake up so many times while I was in a comma but, I never could. "Man you don't have a weak hug anymore." He chuckled. I pulled away and narrowed my eyes at him.
"Oh so your saying I used to have a weak hug huh. Well, let's see if you get anymore hugs from now on." I started to pull away from him as he pulled me back and tightened his grip.
"Nope, no matter what you say I'll hug you for the rest of your life. I don't care if your even naked like you were before. Actually that wouldn't be to bad." I smacked his shoulder as he started laughing. "Ok Ok I'll only hug you when your naked on special occasions."
"Oh my gosh you are such a perv." He chuckled and pulled back to look at me. His eyes started to glisten.
"You have no idea how good it sounds to hear your voice. I kept calling your phone to hear your voice on your answering machine. I know it sounds like I'm a big baby." He put his head down. I shook my head at him and put my hand under his chin and looked into his eyes. His very tired eyes. I didn't even notice how tired he looked.
"Actually that's very sweet." A little smile came to his face. "Babe did you sleep at all. Cause you look like death warmed up."
"Huh well, Let's just say I probably haven't slept a full nights sleep for three weeks. Your parents had to force me out of here to go and shower and rest. Of course I'd only be gone for an hour."
"Well, first things first. We need to get you home so you can sleep." I started to walk and almost collapsed as my legs got weak. Before I fell to the ground Clay's arms wrapped around my waist.
"Oh no you don't. You just got out of a three week comma and just barely turned into a werewolf. You need to get home and rest. I'll rest while your resting but, I have more strength than you right now." He picked me up and swung my legs up and wrapped his arm underneath them. "Now let's get you out of here and go lay down on your comfy bed. I'm thinking it has both our names on it." We both laughed as he opened the door of the room. We were met by my doctor and my parents.
"Oh let me go get you a wheel chair." The doctor started to walk away but , before he got far Clay spoke up.
"Nope, she doesn't need it. I've got this covered." The doctor smiled at him and nodded.
"Yeah I thought so."
"Does she have to stay to check to make sure everything is ok?" My mom asked. Oh please say no I don't want to stay in this place any longer.
"Well, If it were anyone else I would say yes. But since she isn't any normal person yeah she can leave." I couldn't help a little squeal that escaped my lips. Everyone laughed at me. "I'll just need you to fill the paper work out and she is good to go." My parents nodded.
"Ok Well, is it alright if I take her down to the car so she can get some fresh air. I think it would do her good." My parents smiled at the both of us and nodded. And with that Clay turned and ran down the hall with me in his arms with both of us laughing.
