Chapter 15 Keep a Secret

Well, what Liam said was true, but Olive couldn't swallow her anger without fighting back. As long as she thought about it, she would be just fuming with indignation.

At this moment, Liam looked back at her. Seeing she was still in a rage, he said, "Forget it. I'll buy you another one." Liam comforted her carelessly.

Since Liam finally comforted her, she could say nothing but nod in dismay. "Okay."

Outside the door.

As soon as Tina and Abigail went out, Tina said with a broad smile, "I feel so good looking at that woman suck it up."

"Damn her. What a drama queen!"

Hearing Tina's words, Abigail smiled slightly. "You're amazing!"

"Oh, I just feel bad to waste my twenty bucks. I wanted to give her ten, but I didn't have one on me."

Abigail joked, "Well, you are so generous. If I were you, I would only give her one dollar."

Hearing Abigail's words, Tina smiled and said, "It's not a big deal. But I believe if she finds out that you are Liam's ex-wife, she will go crazy."

Hearing this, Abigail smiled. "It's better to keep it a secret. Otherwise, she will definitely not let me off."

"Hahaha, I just feel so good in seeing her pissed off. Who does she think she is? And that Liam, I never expected him to be such a vile guy."

Hearing Tina's words, Abigail pondered for a moment and then nodded. "Indeed!"

Both of them burst into laughter and then got into Tina's car.

At this moment, Abigail suddenly thought of something. She reminded Tina, "By the way, Tina, remember not to talk about me and Liam with anybody!"

"I know. Don't worry. I won't talk about it with anyone." Tina said with a smile.

"I just don't want any trouble!"

"Don't worry. Your secret is safe here." Tina made a gesture of zipping her lip.

Looking at Tina, Abigail smiled. "I trust you!"

The next day.

Abigail went straight to the Powerline Group.

The series of events made her even more determined to not stay in the company.

Walking in, Abigail handed her resignation letter to the personnel department.

Emily, the HR manager, was a little confused. "You just got hired yesterday and you are going to resign today? Miss Swift, are there any difficulties in your work?"

Looking at Emily, Abigail smiled. "I'm really sorry. It's due to my personal reasons. It has nothing to do with the company!"

"Well, what a pity!" The HR manager said.

"I'm sorry!" Abigail said sincerely. Emily was a nice person, and Abigail respected her very much.

Emily thought for a moment and said, "I need to hand your resignation letter to Mr. Jones first!"

"OK!" Abigail nodded.

Then Emily went to the president's office and came back shortly after.

"Miss Swift!" Emily said. "Mr. Jones wants to meet you."

Hearing this, Abigail frowned. "Do I have to?"

"Yes. Mr. Jones has your resignation letter now. He said he wants you to talk with him in person." Emily said.

Abigail had no choice but to nod in agreement. "Okay, I got it. Thank you, Emily!"

"I just hope you can stay if possible."

Abigail smiled and did not say a word. She took a deep breath and walked towards the president's office.

She didn't know what would happen to her...
