Chapter 15 The Doubts in the Morgue

"Are all Mr. Jiang's family members here?" The question of the doctor who came out from the operating room made the four of them focus their attentions on the doctor once again.

"What's wrong, doctor? Is there any possibility that my father will be cured?" Jiang Jing walked forward quickly, grabbed the doctor's arm and asked anxiously.

The doctor in the surgical gown struggled to free Jiang Jing's hands and comforted her, "Please calm down. We have tried our best. Mr. Jiang had no signs of life. I came to remind you that you can go to the morgue and take a look at Mr. Jiang. My colleagues have just sent Mr. Jiang to the morgue."

Jiang Jing nodded feebly. She had thought that something had changed and that her father had a chance to come back from the dead.

"Do you want to see him?" Fu Jinrong walked to Jiang Jing and asked in a low voice.

Jiang Jing looked up at Jiang Jingrun. After all, she and Jiang Jingrun were the only real family members of Jiang Zhongyong here.

Jiang Jingrun slowly closed his eyes, which were full of tears, and said to Jiang Jing, "You go ahead, I won't go."

After that, Jiang Jingrun turned around and walked towards the entrance of the hospital with his walking stick. He called out to Jiang Zhongheng at the same time, "Heng, come with me and take me back to the old house."

Jiang Zhongheng quickly chased after Jiang Jingrun and helped him leave the hospital.

Fu Jinrong looked at Jiang Jing beside him and asked carefully, "Do you want to take a look?"

Jiang Jing did not look at Fu Jinrong. Instead, she cast her eyes on the door of the operating room. After a while, she nodded firmly. "Come with me. I want to see dad last time."

Fu Jinrong had never been to the morgue before. This was the first time he had come to such a gloomy and cold place. It was frozen cold. He didn't know if it was only because of the temperature of the dry ice in the morgue to prevent the body from rotting or because this was the closest place to death on earth. In short, that kind of coldness came straight from one's ankles into one's heart.

Jiang Jing unconsciously leaned her body against Fu Jinrong. Fu Jinrong stretched out his hand and wrapped it around Jiang Jing's shoulder. His palm comforted her and added some strength to her shoulder.

At this moment, Jiang Jing not only did not disgusted with Fu Jinrong's closeness, but felt that such closeness made her feel very stable from her heart.

They entered a small room accompanied by the medical staff. The room was not big, but it was empty with only a rectangular table.

At this moment, Jiang Zhongyong's body was placed on the table, wrapped in a light blue medical cover.

The paramedic motioned for the two of them to come closer. When Jiang Jing and Fu Jinrong stood in front of Jiang Zhongyong's body, the paramedic lifted the cover and Jiang Zhongyong's pale and bloodless face appeared.

At the moment of seeing her father's face, Jiang Jing couldn't help it any longer. She wanted to hug her father's body and ask him why he had left his family so cruelly and left alone.

Fu Jinrong held Jiang Jing, who was a little agitated, tightly in his arms. He paid attention to his strength so as not to overexert and hurt her. He comforted her, "Dad has left. You need to calm down and not be agitated. I'll handle the rest. Don't worry."

Fu Jinrong comforted Jiang Jing over and over again, and Jiang Jing gradually calmed down. She lay in Fu Jinrong's arms, sobbing softly, like a helpless doll struggling and licking her wounds.

The medical staff had already seen too many of these scenes and did not think that Jiang Jing's behavior was inappropriate. On the contrary, in their opinion, this Miss Jiang's manner was already good enough. After all, it would be hard for anyone to accept the death of her closest relative.

Some family members even blamed the medical staff for not being prepared. It was not uncommon for family members to beat and scold medical staff in the past two years.

However, this Miss Jiang has only been crying and has not blamed anyone else.

However, the medical staff at the side knew that the main reason why Miss Jiang could calm down so quickly was that the man beside her was too calm. Even as a man, the medical staff could feel the immense sense of security and dependence that this man brought to Miss Jiang.

"Although Mr. Jiang died of a cerebral hemorrhage, he didn't die in pain but relatively peaceful." The medical staff comforted Jiang Jing and Fu Jinrong.

When Fu Jinrong heard the words "cerebral hemorrhage", he frowned. Before he could speak, Jiang Jing had already asked, "Cerebral hemorrhage? Did my father die of a cerebral hemorrhage?"

The doctor was surprised. He did not expect that Miss Jiang did not know what caused Mr. Jiang's death.

The doctor nodded and looked at Jiang Jing. "Yes, Mr. Jiang died of a sudden cerebral hemorrhage."

"But my father has never had symptoms of cerebral hemorrhage. Why could he have a sudden cerebral hemorrhage?" Jiang Jing had always thought that her father was rescued only because of his aggravating illness and then died of incurable disease. She had never thought that a condition like cerebral hemorrhage would happen to her father.

The doctor frowned, but still said firmly, "We don't know that clearly. We just know that Mr. Jiang Zhongheng informed us that Mr. Jiang suddenly fainted in the morning. When we arrived at the ward, we found that Mr. Jiang had a sudden cerebral hemorrhage and his pulse was almost faint."

"Jiang Zhongheng?" When Fu Jinrong heard this name, he understood that Jiang Zhongyong's death was not that simple.

"Yes, Mr. Jiang Zhongheng informed us. When we arrived at the ward, your Grandfather was also there. At that time, he was holding Mr. Jiang's hand and talking, but ..."

Fu Jinrong sensed the doctor's hesitation and quickly asked, "Doctor, but what? Do you know anything else? Please tell us everything you know. After all, as family, I think we have the right to know the truth."

The doctor sighed. He didn't want to say anything at first, because he knew that he couldn't clearly explain the grudges in the rich and powerful families, and he didn't want to be involved in such a storm. But right now, in front of this man with such a strong aura, he felt that he couldn't hide anything anymore.

"Doctor, please don't worry. As long as you tell us all the truth, we won't make things difficult for you, and we won't let you get hurt." Fu Jinrong sensed the doctor's concern.

"Actually, it's nothing. A nurse told me that Jiang Zhongheng was the only one in the ward when Mr. Jiang had a sudden cerebral hemorrhage." The doctor recalled.
