Han Cheng said hurriedly before Jiang Jing hung up the phone, "I want to talk to you about cooperation."

"What cooperation?" Jiang Jing felt a little unbelievable. Why did Han Cheng suddenly want to cooperate with her?

Han Cheng did not show any emotion about Jiang Jing's question. He continued simply and directly, "Yes, I want to work with the the Jiang Corporation, so I want to talk to you."

Han Cheng decided not to let Jiang Jing know that he had already known she was not Jiang Ru for the time being. He just wanted Jiang Jing to come out and meet him and have a good talk with him. No matter what problems Jiang Jing had, he was willing to support her and help her unconditionally.

"Do you know that the Fu family is going to withdraw funds from the Jiang Corporation?" Jiang Jing asked tentatively. After all, Han Cheng had never mentioned cooperation before. If he brought it up so suddenly today, there must be a reason. Did Han Cheng already know that the Fu family was going to withdraw their funds?

Han Cheng did not intend to lie. He replied, "Yes, I know that the Fu family is going to terminate its cooperation with you, so I now have the opportunity to cooperate with the Jiang Corporation. I don't know if you would like to meet me. Let's talk about it in detail."

Jiang Jing didn't want to think much about where Han Cheng got the news. She simply thought that Han Cheng's proposal was feasible.

Although the current Han family was not on the same level as the Fu family, it was not without power and wealth. So if the Han family was willing to be Jiang's partner, they sure were a good choice.

"Okay, do you have time tomorrow afternoon?" Jiang Jing decided to meet him. She asked Han Cheng about the time and made an appointment in advance.

Han Cheng was stunned for a second on the phone. He didn't expect Jiang Jing to agree to him so directly. "Yes, I am available all day long tomorrow."

"Okay, then Boss Han, I'll come to your office at three o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Then we talk about it in detail. I'll take the documents and go straight there."

Unexpectedly, Han Cheng rejected Jiang Jing's idea of meeting him at the company, "Three o'clock is fine, but don't come to my office. We'd better go to the coffee shop at the entrance of University of Yun City."

Jiang Jing frowned. This cafe was the one she worked part-time in college. Why did Han Cheng ask her to meet him there? Did Han Cheng already know that she wasn't Jiang Ru?

"That was where your sister did her part-time job. I just wanted to see it. Is that OK?" Han Cheng's words dispelled Jiang Jing's concerns. It turned out that he simply wanted to see the coffee shop. So why not?

She didn't care about or wasn't afraid of anything because she was there to talk business. As long as she didn't have any other thoughts in her mind, why couldn't she keep the appointment? Jiang Jing had made up her mind that she would definitely go to this appointment tomorrow.

"Okay, Boss Han, I'll see you at the cafe at three o'clock tomorrow afternoon." Then Jiang Jing hung up the phone.

At this time, Han Cheng was very sure that the the woman who spoke to him was not "Jiang Ru," but Jiang Ru's sister, his first love—Jiang Jing.

Because the woman on the phone didn't ask Han Cheng where the coffee shop was from the beginning to the end. The coffee shop at the entrance of the University of Yun City was hidden behind a huge French parasol tree, and it was difficult to find out for passers by. Only the students who had been at the University of Yun City for a long time would know about the coffee shop.

Jiang Ru was not a student of the University of Yun City and had never visited Jiang Jing when she was working part-time, so Jiang Ru could never have known about the coffee shop. The "Jiang Ru" on the phone didn't ask a single question on the phone just now, so Han Cheng was almost sure that the woman was Jiang Jing.

Han Cheng was feeling bittersweet now. The happy thing was that he finally found Jiang Jing. The sad thing was that she had already married someone else in her her sister's place and it was late for the two of them.

While he was thinking about it, Ye Shiwen called again, "Did you comfort Jiang Jing?"

"Yes, what's wrong?" Han Cheng didn't understand why Ye Shiwen cared so much about Jiang Jing.

Ye Shiwen also realized that she was too excited because her goal was about to be achieved, and even forgot to modify her language a little.

"Ah, nothing. Just curious." Ye Shiwen pretended not to care and to be casual.

"Well, I see. She and I have made an appointment tomorrow. Thank you for telling me today." Han Cheng thought that it was Ye Shiwen who told him today that Fu Jinrong was going to withdraw the funds. No matter what her purpose was, she told him anyway.

When Ye Shiwen heard that Han Cheng was going to meet Jiang Jing tomorrow, she couldn't help but feel excited again, "You're going to meet her tomorrow?"

"Yes, we will meet at University of Yun City at three tomorrow afternoon." Han Cheng didn't think too much and told Ye Shiwen the time and place. He thought Ye Shiwen was being curious.

He didn't expect that Ye Shiwen would secretly memorize the time and place and make a plan in her heart.

After hanging up Han Cheng's phone, Jiang Jing suddenly felt as if there was a light in front of her that could take her to a new direction. This light was not because of Han Cheng's appearance, but because Han Cheng's proposal to cooperate had given the Jiang Corporation a new chance to survive. Jiang Jing decided to fight for this opportunity for herself and the Jiang Corporation.

Jiang Jing's mood gradually became less gloomy than in the afternoon, and her footsteps became more and more brisk. She almost trotted all the way to her and her mother's apartment. However, when the door of the apartment opened, she did not see her mother, but Fu Jinrong.

"Why are you here?" When Jiang Jing saw Fu Jinrong, her face, which had just been as bright as the sun, suddenly turned sour. She still did not want to recall the pain Fu Jinrong had caused her this afternoon.

Fu Jinrong smiled as if nothing had happened, "I'm here to see mom."

Jiang Jing wanted to say something more, but was interrupted by his mother's voice from the room, "Is Jing back?"

"Yes." Jiang Jing replied to her mother in the room, then asked Fu Jinrong in a low voice, "What do you want to do?"

Fu Jinrong shook his head in confusion, "I don't want to do anything. I just came to have a simple meal with my mother-in-law."

"You said Fu went to a meeting.
He went here immediately after he got off the plane. He said he had an appointment with you tonight to eat dumplings. Are you trying to surprise me?" Mother of Jiang walked to the door and asked his daughter happily.

Once a person got older, what he most wanted to see was a harmonious relationship between his children and spouses. Mother of Jiang found that Fu Jinrong treated Jiang Jing well, ignoring the facts that Jiang Jing married him in place of her sister. Instead, he was thoughtful of Jiang Jing all the time.

He had just returned from a business trip and came to her place simply to have dinner with them. Mother of Jiang felt the deep concern and love from Fu in her heart.

Jiang Jing was speechless. She didn't want her mother to worry about her, so she chose to hide every conflict that had happened between her and Fu Jinrong.

"Well, okay, let's eat, mom." Jiang Jing didn't ask whether Fu Jinrong after his business trip went straight to the apartment or not. Instead of looking at Fu Jinrong, she took her mother's arm and went to the restaurant.

Mother of Jiang's cooking skills had always been very good, and the dumplings were also delicious, so although Fu Jinrong and Jiang Jing had something on their mind, they still ate a lot.

After dinner, Jiang Jing helped her mother clean up the dishes in the kitchen. Mother of Jiang asked in a low voice, "Did you have a fight?"

"No." Jiang Jing retorted subconsciously.

Mother of Jiang shook her head and looked at the side face of her daughter, who was wiping the dishes, "You must have quarreled. I've been there too. I could tell at a glance if you two had a fight."

Jiang Jing did not say a word. Indeed, at dinner tonight, she was still awkward and did not say a word to Fu Jinrong. Even when Fu Jin Rong wanted to pick up dumplings for her, she chose to ignore it deliberately. It seemed that her mother had seen it.

Mother of Jiang thought that the two of them were just quarreling over some trivial matters, so she kept trying to persuade her daughter. In her opinion, nothing was more important than a harmonious life between husband and wife. She hoped that her daughter would be happy for the rest of her life.

Jiang Jing sighed with her mother's persuasion, "Mom, I know what you're saying. We're not just fighting. There are many things I don't want to say. Please don't say anything. I came home because I want to have some alone time."

Out of the kitchen, Jiang Jing saw Fu Jinrong still sitting on the sofa in the living room. She wanted to go straight to her room, but Fu Jinrong stopped her.

"Come home with me." Fu Jinrong said.

Jiang Jing pulled her hand back from Fu Jinrong, "You go back first. I want to stay with my mother tonight."

Jiang Jing still wanted to walk to the room, but Fu Jinrong hugged her from behind, "Jing, stop it. Let's go home. I'll take back what I said this afternoon. We'll pretend that nothing happened. Come home with me."

Jiang Jing was held tightly by Fu Jinrong, and there was no chance get rid of his arms. She could only give up struggling, but the coldness in her voice was penetrating.

"No need. What you say is like water being poured. It's hard to take it back."

"But I know my problem. I realize it. Can't you forgive me once?" Fu Jinrong insisted.

Jiang Jing smiled bitterly, "Fu Jinrong, what do you want? You're the one who asked me to go and now you're asking me to go back. What do you think I am?"

"I think of you as my wife." Saying that, Fu Jinrong let out a long sigh, then said to himself, "But you don't think so."
