As Jiang Jing finished these words, mother of Jiang stopped talking. Jiang Jing could only hear her mother's slight breathing through the microphone. This once again let Jiang Jing confirm her conjecture.

"Mom, who on earth won't let you go to Dad's funeral and who has the right to do so?" She had already guessed who did it.

"Was he my second Uncle?"

Mother of Jiang still sighed, "Yes, it was him. I think he will definitely try his best not to let me participate."

"Why? Why has the second uncle been targeting you?" Jiang Jing thought of the phone call that her second uncle called her mother in the morning. He told her mother the news of her father's death on the phone, which was hard for her mother to accept.

"Stop asking questions. I don't know anything, and I don't want to say anything. You just need to know that you'll try your best to get me to go to the funeral. I don't care what kind of status I attend the funeral, even as a passer-by to mourn." Mother of Jiang said as if she really didn't care about anything.

Jiang Jing knew her mother's character very well. If she didn't want to say it, then no matter what others asked, her mother would not say a word. So she was not going to ask her again, although she was very confused.

"Okay, mom, don't worry. I'll let you go to my father's funeral with dignity, and as a wife. After all, you were his only wife." Jiang Jing assured her mother on the phone, she felt that this was what she had to do as a daughter.

Hearing Jiang Jing's solemn promise, mother of Jiang felt tenderhearted.

"Jing, it's not that I don't want to tell you about your second uncle's affairs. I just think those things were past events, so I don't want to mention them any more. I hope you can understand me." Mother of Jiang told her honestly that although she didn't want to talk about the past, she didn't want to lie to her daughter.

Jiang Jing said with understanding, "Yes, mom, I know it. I understand you."

After a few more words, they hung up.

Jiang Jing saw Fu Jinrong's phone call just after she finished talking to her mother. They were in a cold war when they came out of the restaurant. He was so proud. How could he had called her?

Jiang Jing wanted to hung up, but when she saw the name flashing on her phone screen, she couldn't help but press the button to connect his call.

"Hello, what's wrong?" Jiang Jing tried to make her voice seem very calm. She didn't want to reconcile with him yet.

Unexpectedly, Fu Jinrong asked, "Who have you been talking to? I called you several times, but I couldn't get through."

"I was speaking with my mother, she just told me that she wanted to attend my father's funeral." Jiang Jing explained patiently.

"What a coincidence. I'm calling you about Dad's funeral, too." Fu Jinrong was wondering why mother of Jiang made Jiang Jing promise to her. How did mother of Jiang know that she was not on the invitation list?

When Jiang Jing heard it was about her father's funeral, she immediately asked, "What's wrong? What's going on about my father's funeral?"

Fu Jinrong touched his forehead with his hand, "Well, as soon as I arrived at the company, your second uncle Jiang Zhongheng sent me an invitation list for the funeral. He asked me to see if there was any missing on the list."

"And then?" Jiang Jing asked. It seemed that her mother was right. Jiang Zhongheng probably didn't put her mother's name on the invitation list.

"I took a look at the list he drew up and paid special attention to mom's name, but there was no mother's name." Fu Jinrong said word by word.

Jiang Jing's heart froze. As her mother had said, Jiang Zhongheng did not intend to invite her mother to her father's funeral.

"Then what should I do? Is there any way to get my mom to go to the funeral?" Jiang Jing was a little anxious. She couldn't make her mother lose sight of her father.

Fu Jinrong could tell from her voice that Jiang Jing was a little anxious. He quickly comforted her and said, "Don't worry, I'm trying to find a way out."

"What is your idea? After all, my grandpa asked second uncle to prepare for my father's funeral, but you are just a proposer." Jiang Jing didn't know what Fu Jinrong was going to do.

Fu Jinrong smiled softly, "It seems that I was right to volunteer to help dad's funeral this morning. Don't underestimate this right to give advice. After all, this right can make mom go to the funeral smoothly."

Fu Jinrong's words let Jiang Jing feel the hope of success. She was surprised and asked, "So you can let mom go to the funeral? What's your way?"

"I already told Jiang Zhongheng my thoughts. I said I didn't think the list was perfect. Jiang Zhongheng asked me why. I guess he already knew that I would object that list for not having having mother's name, so I didn't ask him directly why her name wasn't on the list."

Fu Jinrong explained and told Jiang Jing, "My advice to him was that the funeral could not be specific to everyone's name, but should be based on the family. For example, you and me should be the Boss Fu family. In this way, we could avoid unnecessary troubles caused by some relatives who were not invited."

Jiang Jing listened patiently. She thought for a moment. Although Fu Jinrong's opinion was well founded, his suggestion would be futile if Jiang Zhongheng refused it.

"What did he say?"

"Of course he refused. How could he agree with me so easily? If he agreed with me, mom would be able to go to the funeral." Fu Jinrong replied.

"Then what should we do?" Jiang Jing frowned again.

"I told him that this method was very feasible. We couldn't afford to be sloppy at father's funeral, so I would bring it up to grandpa again."

"You mean you are going to tell grandpa?"

Fu Jinrong shook his head on the phone, then he realized that Jiang Jing couldn't see his movements, so he said, "I just told him that I wanted to tell grandpa, but I didn't really tell him. What I didn't expect was that the moment he heard that I wanted to tell grandpa about this, he immediately changed his mind and agreed with my suggestion."

Jiang Jing felt incomprehensible, "Why he changed his mind?"

"I don'y know the reason for now, but since he was agreed to it now, let's not think too much about it." Fu Jinrong felt that there must be something happened between mother of Jiang and Jiang Zhongheng, but no one knew it.
