Su Muzhi was momentarily stumped by Fu Jinrong's words and did not know how to answer. It was true that Jiang Jing got hurt for peeling the apple for him, but he didn't expect this would happen. He wanted Jing to be unharmed more than anyone else in the world.

Su Muzhi was silent and there was no one in the room to speak. Jiang Jing had been keeping herself out of the situation, then slowly walked up to Fu Jinrong.

She was very delight just now, but her brows were furrowed at this moment. She saw a trace of sorrow on Su Muzhi's pale face, and she felt very sad and worried.

Jiang Jing grew up with Su Muzhi and had regarded Su Muzhi as her own brother. Now seeing that he was at a disadvantage in the dispute with Fu Jinrong and that his spirit was not very good, she felt sorry for him.

Jiang Jing's heart was still on the weak side. She took a step forward, drew Fu Jinrong aside forcefully, and pushed him far away from Su Muzhi's bed. Then she said to Su Muzhi herself,

"Brother, it's okay. Have a good rest. I'm hungry. I'm going to eat."

Su Muzhi nodded, then looked at Jiang Jing and said, "Eat well. I'm fine."

Jiang Jing nodded, then picked up her small purse on the sofa and said to Fu Jinrong, "Let's go and eat." She left without looking back.

"Maybe to her, I'm just a childhood friend lying on a hospital bed." Looking at Jiang Jing's figure, Su Muzhi mocked himself in his heart.

After Jiang Jing and Fu Jinrong left the hospital, Fu Jinrong drove to find a place to eat.

Fu Jinrong glanced at his watch. It was almost one o'clock. Many restaurants were resting. Fu Jinrong was thinking about where to have lunch now.

From morning till now, he and Jiang Jing had not eaten, and he was also worried about Jiang Jing's health. After all, after so many things had happened, he didn't want Jiang Jing to have too much stress in her heart.

"Are you hungry now?" Fu Jinrong looked at Jiang Jing. She was looking out the window at the passing scenery, as if thinking about something, unwilling to speak.

"Well, it's okay. I'm not very hungry." Jiang Jing replied perfunctorily.

Fu Jinrong didn't want to end the conversation so soon. He thought Jiang Jing was thinking about her father's death. He didn't want Jiang Jing to think so much.

"Then what shall we eat? Chinese food or western food?" Fu Jinrong continued to probe.

After a long silence, Jiang Jing said slowly, "Whatever."

Fu Jinrong looked at Jiang Jing doubtfully and asked, "What's wrong with you? Weren't you all right just now?"

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you?" Jiang Jing asked loudly with a frown as became annoyed at Fu Jinrong's words.

Fu Jinrong was still driving, so his hands didn't leave the steering wheel. But he still looked questioning and said, "What's wrong with me? You were obviously unhappy when you came out of the hospital."

"Why are you so against my brother?" Jiang Jing felt that she had to ask him clearly and deal with all her doubts.

"What? I'm against him? When have I been against him?" Fu Jinrong didn't feel that he questioned Su Muzhi was against him.

Jiang Jing looked at Fu Jinrong's profile as he was driving. She sighed and tried to suppress the anger in her heart.

"I know brother Muzhi was a little rude to you just now, but you have to take care of his emotions. He just had a car accident, and he's probably going to spend his youth in a hospital bed. For the sake of me, please be nice to him if you meet him in the future."

Jiang Jing said all her thoughts out. Hearing her words, he stopped arguing and just said, "Fine, I got it. I just think he's strange."

"Strange?" Jiang Jing looked at Fu Jinrong in confusion.

Fu Jinrong smiled, turned the steering wheel and parked the car on the side of the road.

"Do you know? Your brother Muzhi is very strange." Fu Jinrong recalled the intense hostility that Su Muzhi had towards him in the hospital.

Jiang Jing frowned and looked at Fu Jinrong, "Why? What's so strange about brother Muzhi?"

"Let me ask you this first. Are you sure you are related to him by blood?" Fu Jinrong thought of a way to tell Jiang Jing mildly what he had found.

Jiang Jing didn't understand why Fu Jinrong asked, but she nodded, "Yes, I'm sure of that. Brother Muzhi is aunt's biological son. We are related by blood."

After hearing that, Fu Jinrong thought for a moment, bit his lips, and finally said out his guess, "Muzhi likes you."

Jiang Jing could not help but smile when she heard Fu Jinrong say this in such a serious manner. This smile seemed to end the unhappiness in her heart.

"Of course I know brother Muzhi likes me. We've liked each other since we were kids, and we're very close. Other kids fought and argued, while we never..."

Before Jiang Jing could finish speaking, Fu Jinrong interrupted her, "I mean he likes you, but not in the way between siblings."

Hearing that, Jiang Jing was stunned. The smile on her face gradually disappeared. Her eyes were fixed on Fu Jinrong's dark pupils, and she did not speak. She was waiting for Fu Jinrong's next words.

Fu Jinrong nodded, "Yes, as you think now, I think Su Muzhi likes you out of affection between men and women, not between siblings."

Jiang Jing felt as if there was a string in her heart, and it broke with a bang.

"What are you talking about? Keep driving. I'm a little hungry." Jiang Jing looked away from Fu Jinrong, and she anxiously urged Fu Jinrong to start the car again.

Fu Jinrong did not move. Although Jiang Jing no longer looked at him, he continued resolutely, "It's useless for you to escape no matter how much you try. In fact, you know something in your heart, don't you? Have you guessed that your so-called elder brother Muzhi likes you?"

Jiang Jing lowered her head and stopped talking. After a long silence, she slowly looked up at Fu Jinrong and asked, "How can you be so sure?"

"I see the feelings and possessiveness he has for you from a man's point of view. He likes you very much. I can even say he loves you." Fu Jinrong thought about Su Muzhi's gaze at Jiang Jing in the hospital and said carefully.
