Chapter 41

After the three of them finished lunch at noon, Ye Shiwen wanted to follow Fu Jinrong and Jiang Jing back to Fu Jinrong's office. Fortunately, Fu Jinrong refused directly this time.

"Wen, I have something to talk about with my wife this afternoon. I think it would be better for you to avoid it." After all, Fu Jinrong had a good family background and upbringing. Even though he was already a little disgusted with Ye Shiwen's behavior, he still said patiently and politely.

Ye Shiwen saw that Fu Jinrong had already said so directly that he hoped she would not follow him this afternoon, so she had no way and reason to follow him so brazenly.

Ye Shiwen secretly grabbed her handbag with her hands, as if she had vented her anger towards the woman named "Jiang Jing" beside Fu Jinrong on her handbag. On the handbag, there were deep and shallow traces pressed by her fingernails.

"Okay, I also have a coffee appointment this afternoon, so I'll go first." Ye Shiwen purposely said she would have coffee with someone else. She wanted to know if Fu Jinrong would be interested in who she was drinking coffee with.

However, Fu Jinrong just nodded habitually and said to her, "Yes, okay, have fun."

Ye Shiwen slightly flushed with anger at this moment. She didn't expect Fu Jinrong to be so indifferent to her.

"Brother Rong, don't you even ask who I'm going to have coffee with?" Although Ye Shiwen was a little angry at Fu Jinrong, she still asked Fu Jinrong deliberately. It didn't matter if Fu Jinrong ignored her for the time being, but she didn't believe that Jiang Jing would be also indifferent to her one-sided intimacy to Fu Jinrong.

At this moment, Jiang Jing stood aside and looked coldly at the conversation between the two of them. She did not say a word and was not ready to say anything. She wanted to see what this little girl named Ye Shiwen who looked delicate wanted to do.

Fu Jinrong frowned at Ye Shiwen's question. He originally didn't want to pay any attention to it, but when he saw Jiang Jing standing by the side, Fu Jinrong changed his mind. Why didn't he use Ye Shiwen's question to test Jiang Jing's true attitude towards him?

"Oh, so who did you go with?" Fu Jinrong asked in accordance with Ye Shiwen's words.

Ye Shiwen smiled shyly at this moment, "It's the eldest young master of the Han family, Han Cheng."

Fu Jinrong's eyes which was looking at Ye Shiwen narrowed slightly when he heard the name. He didn't expect to hear this name again.

"What's wrong? Brother Rong, why do you and Jiang Jing look so strange when I say it's Han Cheng?" Ye Shiwen noticed that not only did Fu Jinrong's expression change a lot just now, but even Jiang Jing, who had been standing silently by the side, moved her feet when she heard these two words Han Cheng.

Moreover, the footsteps were not moved unconsciously. It was more like the subconscious behavior of a person who suddenly lost her balance and wanted to balance her body.

When Fu Jinrong heard Ye Shiwen say this, he also looked at Jiang Jing. He found that although Jiang Jing's face did not show any great expressions of fear and surprise, her frown now showed the high degree of authenticity of Ye Shiwen's words. It seemed that Jiang Jing was also surprised when she heard the name of Han Cheng.

Why was Jiang Jing, who was usually so calm and indifferent, so surprised? Fu Jinrong silently speculated in his heart and he even tacitly approved that perhaps Jiang Jing still had a different feeling for Han Cheng.

Thinking of this, Fu Jinrong's proud heart also seemed to been deeply inserted by a thorn. From the time he knew about Han Cheng's existence, it meant that Fu Jinrong could not be unaware of him.

Fu Jinrong himself was also very clear that this feeling was not hatred, it should be said to be a kind of jealousy. He was deeply jealous that this man named Han Cheng had actually ever been with Jiang Jing. He was deeply jealous of the fact that Jiang Jing might have really loved this man.

At this moment, Fu Jinrong calmed himself down completely in his heart. Finally, he smiled and said to Ye Shiwen, "Okay, I know. Go ahead and have a good time."

Ye Shiwen originally wanted to ask minutely what the relationship between Fu Jinrong and Han Cheng was, but when she saw Fu Jinrong avoiding this topic so much, she could not continue asking. She could only nod and walk to the side of the road and get into a taxi.

Ye Shiwen had already set aside all the time of today. She had thought that she could spend the whole day with Fu Jinrong, but she didn't expect to go home so early now. Besides, she originally didn't have any appointments in the afternoon. And she would meet with Han Cheng, who was just mentioned, tomorrow.

She and Han Cheng knew each other under the arrangement of their families. They hadn't known each other for a long time, but she indeed liked Han Cheng's handsome features and his elegant temperament. Sometimes Ye Shiwen even felt that if Fu Jinrong didn't exist, she might really like Han Cheng.

However, there was no if in this world. She, Ye Shiwen, would always be determined to follow Fu Jinrong unswervingly. Even Fu Jinrong ignored her, she still believed that one day she could get Fu Jinrong's love.

Ye Shiwen just fantasized like that in the taxi. She was always like this, living in the fantasy castle that she had built for herself. She dreamed that one day Fu Jinrong would come to the castle, find her good, and wake her up with a kiss.

But Ye Shiwen thought calmly for a moment. She felt that Fu Jinrong and Jiang Jing had behaved so strongly when she mentioned Han Cheng. Judging from Ye Shiwen's many years of understanding of Fu Jinrong, Fu Jinrong definitely didn't know about Han Cheng before. Even if he did, he probably didn't know very well.

So, in other words, could Fu Jinrong have such a huge reaction when she mentioned Han Cheng likely because of Jiang Jing?!

"I finally found a clue." Ye Shiwen patted her palm. She had been thinking about how to find the weakness of this woman named Jiang Jing. Now, based on her intuition, Han Cheng must have an extraordinary relationship with this woman. She would find the result only by a little investigation.

After Ye Shiwen left, Fu Jinrong did not exchange pleasantries with Jiang Jing. He was originally a little unhappy about Han Cheng, and he just tacitly admitted that Jiang Jing might still be in love with Han Cheng. How could this not make his anger burn?

Fu Jinrong walked ahead, and Jiang Jing followed behind. The two of them walked back to Fu Jinrong's office one after the other. Jiang Jing pushed open the door of the office and went in firstly. Fu Jinrong followed closely behind.

Just as Fu Jinrong closed the door, he pulled Jiang Jing into his arms. Before Jiang Jing could react, Fu Jinrong had already pushed her hard against the wall and kissed her.

For a moment, there was no sound in the office. After a while, Jiang Jing came back from her daze and tried to push away Fu Jinrong who pushed her against the wall.

However, there was a great disparity in strength between men and women after all.  Jiang Jing could not push Fu Jinrong away. Just as Jiang Jing was wondering if she needed to beg Fu Jinrong, Fu Jinrong let go of his hands that was holding on to Jiang Jing.

"What are you doing!" Jiang Jing originally wanted to reach out and slap Fu Jinrong in his face, but she considered that they were in his company after all. Although they were already in the office, it was still not good to be seen by the staff, so she just clenched her fingers.

Fu Jinrong saw that Jiang Jing's palms, which were hanging on both sides of her body, were tightly clenched and slightly turned white. He smiled, "What? Do you want to hit me?"

Jiang Jing glanced at Fu Jinrong and didn't want to talk to him again. She opened the office door and was about to leave, but Fu Jinrong pulled her back again.

"What the hell are you doing?" Jiang Jing felt that the anger in her heart was almost beyond restraint. She felt that Fu Jinrong was simply making trouble out of nothing.

Fu Jinrong pushed Jiang Jing towards his desk and said, "I have something to talk to you. Sit down first. Let's talk slowly." Fu Jinrong personally poured Jiang Jing a cup of tea and then sat down in his seat.

The two of them sat opposite each other. Jiang Jing calmed down, took a sip of tea, and then asked, "What do you want to talk to me?"

Fu Jinrong put his hands on his chin and smiled slightly. His exquisite facial features seemed to be more brilliant, "I want to talk to you about the child."

"Child? What child?" Jiang Jing frowned. She didn't understand what was going on between them about the child. But on second thought, she remembered what her grandfather said at the funeral home that day.

Fu Jinrong looked at Jiang Jing's expression from bewilderment to enlightenment and knew that she should have guessed what he was going to say.

"Yes, you're right. I want to talk to you about that topic your grandfather said that day." Fu Jinrong nodded, indicating that he affirmed the direction Jiang Jing had in mind.

When Jiang Jing heard that Fu Jinrong was really going to discuss the issue of having a child with her, she immediately stood up and said, "If that's the case, I don't think we have much to talk about. I won't give birth to a child."

Fu Jinrong still smiled, not showing any signs of exasperation. He said to Jiang Jing, "Sit down first. I hope you can completely hear out what I want to say."

Jiang Jing thought for a moment and finally sat back in the chair. Fu Jinrong then continued to mutter, "I actually guessed from the beginning that you wouldn't agree to have a child, but I didn't expect you to reject it so straightforwardly and not sloppily at all. This is really your style."

"I'm sorry. I really don't think it's appropriate for us to have children." Jiang Jing explained seriously. But she did not expect Fu Jinrong to interrupt her words directly.

"Don't talk now. Listen to me. I know you don't want to give birth to a child, but I do want to have a child." Fu Jinrong actually wanted to say "I do want to have a child belonging to both of us", but he still didn't say it out completely.
